What did you think when it was first brought up that this game might be moved to Sunday?
I thought it was awesome. I'm all for it. You know, I told our team today,
we're the only game at one o'clock. We're on NBC. It's an opportunity. Everybody that turns on the
TV on Sunday and in the fall is looking for football. So it just happens to be, surprise,
it's college and it's us. And that's our hope that they all benefit from that, that our guys,
that our fan base across the country, that all the East Coast people, the media, the teams,
Central Time Zone, Mountain Time Zone, they're all turning it on because there's nothing else
on Sunday in regards to football other than our game. Plus it's on the same station as the Notre
Dame-Wisconsin game is. So we hope that people want to watch a doubleheader. So when Pat came to
me about doing it, I couldn't say yes fast enough. How does that change your preparation for game
week with a Sunday game? I gave the guys this weekend off. So instead of having Monday off,
we have Sunday off and the rest of the preparation is exactly the same this week. And then we'll just,
Saturday will be like a Friday and then we'll have a bonus Thursday on Friday morning, which
will be consisting more of practicing the game, how to get ourselves from pregame warmup to
where, what we're going to be doing in terms of the first, you know, 25 plays of the game and all
the other things that go into it. So we can really kind of mock that up on Friday in the stadium.
