Several Russian cities were attacked by drones. A large-scale fire broke out in Rostov, and a military barracks are burning in Engels.
A suspected military unit near Russia’s Engels-2 strategic bomber base caught fire and a drone struck a logistics warehouse deep within Russian territory in Yekaterinburg during an aerial barrage from Friday evening into Saturday morning, July 25. According to Astra Telegram channel, citing OSINT analysis, the blaze occurred at a building on Engels-1 street, which is believed to house a military unit. The burning structure is located in close proximity to the Engels-2 military airfield. The cause of the fire has not been officially confirmed by local authorities, and some residents reported not hearing explosions prior to the blaze.
In the Saratov region, local residents reported a large fire in the city of Engels following regional drone and missile threat alerts.
According to monitoring channels, on the night of 25 July, amissile threat and the danger of UAVs were announced in Engels, Saratov Oblast. According to local residents, the fire broke out on Engels-1 Street, and a military unit is probably located there.
Eyewitnesses report a strong fire and publish footage of smoke and glow.
Fire and smoke are also reported in Rostov after the strikes. Temporarily occupied Luhansk also came under attack. Explosions are heard there, a fire broke out at the site of the attack.
