Hey everyone, happy Thursday. Today's actually my wife's birthday, so happy birthday to Alissa,
my wife. After this, we're actually going to be going camping, so excited to... Okay,
to be totally honest, I'm not excited about that. Let me know in the comments who actually likes
camping. We have a student from Africa that stays here, and he says, why do we pretend like we're
poor whenever we go camping? So that's true. I think the same thing. I have a bed. Why am I
sleeping on the ground? But let me know in the comments. Maybe you disagree. Maybe you love
camping, but that is our plan tonight. My wife likes camping. We have here a good friend of
the channel, Crypto Sensei. We go way back. Crypto Sensei, Robert Doyle, as he's more
commonly known, I guess. Maybe you can quickly give us a quick introduction. I've had you on
the channel many times, but just in case there's people watching who don't know you, let's do a
quick introduction before we jump into some market analysis. Got it. So hey, guys. Well,
happy birthday to your lovely wife, and I hope you enjoy the ground tonight. That sounds a little
rough, but you need to work on glamping. Glamping is like the more fancier camping. You got to find
those places around you. But Robert Doyle, been in the space a little over four years. It's my
whole life. I dedicate every day to researching, learning, and trying to grow in the crypto space.
I've got a great community called Cryptonaires, where we provide a lot of just hard work and
information. The community's working together to talk about different projects, what we're
investing in, kind of what we're doing in the space right now. It's a really good community.
We're just starting a new Telegram channel, too, that's going to be free and open to everybody.
That's not the quite paid version, but if you want to come in and talk with me and talk with
my team and build, Cryptonaires is a much better place. We also have a partnership with Carolina
Keith's TA Discord. So when you sign up for our Discord, you get his for free, which is like
$15 a month as well. So for like $50 a month, you get two Discords and you're basically preparing
you for the next bull market. All the information that you need to know, what's happening behind
the scenes with banks and institutions, what's going on with crypto regulation globally,
CBDCs globally. I mean, if you really want to take your crypto knowledge to the next level,
that's a great place. We also have an audit company. And I know you just sent us an audit.
We just did one for the Warfly team over there on their new project. And we got a really good
team of hardworking people at Cryptonaires and DeFi Century that just want to provide a safer
environment for people to not only learn, but also for projects to address any issues they
have before the project launches. So that's that's it in a nutshell, my friend. That's it.
Awesome. Yeah. And I'm going to again, free call to action is everyone go subscribe to Robert's
new YouTube channel. So one thing I really appreciate about you, Robert, is that
during the bull market, none of us really needed to work at all. We were just like
we were just hanging out and getting into projects early, making a bunch of money and then getting
out. That's what we were doing. But then as we got into a bear market, we all all of us in that
kind of alpha group have kind of like tried to had to find other ways of, hey, we're not making
money from getting in early on projects anymore. And so you've done a tremendous job of starting
like this audit company. I know that's bringing in some revenue and now you're trying the YouTube
thing. And so I just feel like you do it. You've done a good job of like maneuvering, you know,
as the markets dictate to kind of keep keep food on the table. Right. That's what that's what we're
all trying to do. So at the end of the day, that's what it's about. Right. Making sure your family
bringing home the bacon. Yeah, absolutely. And I want to welcome everyone. Thank you, everyone
who's coming here today, especially those from my community, but also those that are not from
my community. I appreciate you guys being here just as much. Welcome. Hope you enjoy today what
we're going to be talking about. Scott says with all the heat across the United States, question
of the day should be what is the heat index where you're at right now? I will show you.
How is it in Hawaii, Robert? I'm about to hold the weather. It's probably somewhere in the 80s,
like low 80s, which it usually is about 10 a.m. my time. So let me see here.
OK, so I'm in Roka, Nebraska. Eighty one feels like 80. So they see my wife turn it off as she
left the doctor. Yeah. So basically, the takeaway from this is that Nebraska is the same as Hawaii.
I mean, that's what I'm seeing here. But this is a pretty good camping weather,
actually. So it shouldn't be too bad. Sorry about the we had since we had the same weather.
My conclusion is Nebraska is the same as Hawaii. I love it, basically. So no need to go visit
Hawaii. Come visit Roka, Nebraska. You'll be good. There you go. Yeah. You have to take at least I
mean, depending where you're coming from, the United States, you'd have to take another extra
six hour plane ride when you got to the east, the West Coast. So, you know, Hawaii is very beautiful,
but it does take a little bit of time to get here. So, yep. See, Nebraska is right in the middle.
It's not more than a three hour flight from pretty much anywhere in the US. So there you go. There
you go. Ozark says I live in Africa. Camping should be reserved for when it is necessary.
Correct. Not a pastime. Also, I think the same thing about hiking as well. It's like, OK,
maybe if you're going to see something cool. So but yeah, welcome and glad you could make it all
the way from Africa. So great to have you all. If you guys have questions, we're going crypto
sensei Robert. One thing I'll say about another thing I'll say about Robert is he puts a lot more
effort into research on the crypto side of things than I do. OK, so if you're looking for like
in-depth analysis of like what's going on with certain coins, specifically like XRP and some
of these, we're going to talk about those. Robert's going to be your spot. Most of the things I say
about it is stuff I just heard from Robert. OK, so he's the man. So maybe let's start out with
first off, which coins are you most excited about? Is it still Ripple or is that moved
down or what's what's your take on that? So we need to we need to separate Ripple,
the company from XRP. OK, thank you. Always remind me of that. But yes, thank you.
It used to be called it used to be called Ripples back in the day. So a lot of people are having
trouble disconnecting those two. But so, yeah, I'm still the most bullish on XRP after XRP.
I mean, Stellar and XLM kind of go with XRP. If you look at the charts on both of those projects,
they kind of go up and down together, which is very strange. But those those two tokens,
whenever they do decide to start using those technologies, those are probably going to be
a really good ecosystem that you can invest in. But when you're talking about some of these ISO
tokens, like you have your XRP, you have your XTC, your XLM, HBAR, and you have a few others,
Algorand, those are the tokens you guys need to be holding for a period of time, right? This is
obviously not financial advice, but I think a lot of people buy into some of these projects and
think they're like meme coins where you hold them for like a month and, you know, you make a bunch
of money. That's not reality, guys. So we're still in a speculation market, right? We have not got
yet to a fully regulated globe, right? The G20 and the Financial Stability Board are working on
global regulation for the G20 countries. Once the G20 regulation comes in, other countries that
do trade or business with those G20 countries will adopt that certain policy so value can move
across borders without having any issues, right? And so what you have is really interesting this
year. So the migration timeline for ISO. ISO is just a new messaging service. So you have all of
these different messaging like MT, MX messages that these banks use to send value between them.
If you're not a big conglomerate bank like JP Morgan, HSBC or Citibank, you don't have like
at the big of an infrastructure as those banks have. So if you're sending a payment, you're
usually paying anywhere from like three to five percent on that payment. And if you're doing
billions of dollars in payments, that value adds up pretty quickly. Now, what you can do once your
bank is on ISO and ISO payments are being accepted is you can attach cryptocurrency to that payment
for instance settlement. So CBPR plus is SWIFT's migration. SWIFT is the conglomerate of banks,
the 11,500 correspondent banking system. That's when you send money now and it takes five days
to go there. SWIFT is migrating in November. So JP Morgan, I just did a video yesterday and it's
going to come out on my YouTube channel probably in a day or two, but I did this for my sensei
chat in my community. I played a bunch of stuff from JP Morgan. JP Morgan is using the same
timeline as CBPR plus. And so that is November of 2023. And JP Morgan is telling that the banks
that they work with to not wait until November of 2025. That is the end of ISO migration. So
every bank and institution needs to be on that new standard by November of 2025. So in November of
2025, 80% or higher of the global payments will be on ISO messaging. So that is an enormous feat.
And so now you have 80% of the world's payments that could use crypto for instance. So that is
what we're trying to move into here. You also with the XRP ledger, you have AMMs, which are automated
market makers. Those are coming in here probably September or October. I'm hearing kind of both
dates, but it's interesting timeline right before SWIFT and JP Morgan and a lot of some of these
other countries are going to go live with ISO payments. What will that do for the price of the
guys? I don't know if they're going to be using it, but they can use it. And that's kind of what
the takeaway is here, right? They're not going to be waiting another two years, which is really
kind of cool. Yeah. I would stick like if you're really trying to, it depends what kind of investing
that you're doing. And obviously we're not financial advisors. We're just giving you our
opinions and our work here. But if you want to, you should be holding these ISO tokens because
thank you for that flashing. I always got to get that up there. I love you. But yeah,
those are the tokens that you really want to hold and understand its true values when this new
system does start. I mean, because you have like stocks, bonds, derivatives, all of that value guys
is going to get tokenized, right? So the stock market, anywhere from like 30 to $40 trillion.
You have the bond markets, 130 trillion. You have the equities market. You have the DTCC,
which is the Depository Trust Clearing Corporation. They have something called
Project ION. Project ION was moving the DTCC's infrastructure to DLT and they're partnered with
R3. R3 has a bridge to the XRP ledger and the XDC network. So that's $2.5 quadrillion in just
the DTCC that they processed last year in 2022. So there's so much value that is going to start
moving over these new payment rails. And that is really when we can expect some price action
because as more value either gets added to these ledgers or these ecosystems, and as value starts
moving through these ecosystems, that's really when you're going to have price discovery for
the really first time. Because the last 10 years or whatever for the XRP ledger, it's just been
retail speculation. And I hate to break it to everyone, we're the small fish in the big pool
of the world, right? We're not going to be able to pump these tokens to $20, $30, $50, $100 just
with us dumping money into them. It's really going to take value being tokenized and those digital
twins that value living on certain ledgers like Ripple and XRP and Stellar and Algorand and some
of these other ones, HBAR. HBAR is another topic that I would definitely have you take a look at.
Okay, now this is good stuff. I was quickly, I was Googling everything as you were talking about
it to make sure I understand all the different acronyms and things like that. Can you maybe,
yeah, James, we'll talk about that for sure. What I think would be helpful is can you kind of walk
through what exactly XRP is meant to do? How is it meant to do in layman's terms? So again,
I always do the Michael Scott, explain it to me like I'm a seven-year-old.
Yeah, so when we go back to like, if you go to a gas station or if you use your ATM card anywhere,
right? Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay, Amex, they usually take anywhere from like 1% to 5% of that
payment to process that, right? Because they have built all this infrastructure out and it just
takes a lot. And so Ripple has built a ledger, the XRP ledger. It was David Schwartz, Arthur
Brito, and Jed McCaleb. They built the XRP ledger to really facilitate cross-border payments,
getting rid of the JP Morgan's, the Citi's and the HSBC's because they're huge conglomerates
and they can afford to build out their own infrastructure on the backend. But smaller
banks get abused by bigger banks because they have to pay all these enormous fees to move money
across their rails. And so when you have a company like Ripple, who's built banking software on top
the XRP ledger, now you can use XRP to facilitate an instant settlement of a payment in three to
five seconds. So instead of you paying three to 5% on that transfer, you can pay less than a penny
to move that same value, which is incredible, right? Crypto Lulu put together something about
Amazon Web Services and how much money they spend a month or how much money they make a month. And
it was like over a billion dollars. And he did something on the fees. If you were to use XRP
instead of using these rails, Amazon would save like $12 or $13 billion a year. So something
insane, right? So you really start to wonder how long is it going to take these banks and
institutions and private companies to want to start using this technology, not only to save money,
but to save time. And so Ripple's also built a bunch of CBDC. So this is how I kind of do it.
They have a CBDC initiative 2023 right now, and they're having all these developers come and build
new use cases in the CBDC landscape. And so what Ripple has done is they built out a software where
banks and central banks can come in and say, my country really needs popcorn, a hot dog,
and an IC, right? And another country is like, well, I just want popcorn and candy, right?
So there's all of these different use cases in CBDCs that different countries need it. And
everyone's going to be different. But Ripple's built out this technology where a country can
get a CBD set up in a couple of months rather than a couple of years. So you look at companies
like that. They build out treasury management. They have a company called Medeco for institutional
staking and buying of digital assets. I mean, there's just so many use cases that Ripple,
the company, is building on top of the XRP budget. So that's what I really look for.
When I'm investing in a cryptocurrency, I'm like, how big could this be and who's going to use this?
And when you build on a system that you can get rid of the 1% to 3% or 1% to 5% that banks have to
pay, and now you're talking that you're just paying a penny, a penny, or two pennies, or five
pennies, whatever it is, it's literally cents. And the other way is you're paying dollars,
hundreds of dollars, or thousands, right? If you're moving a billion dollars and you have to
pay 5% of that, that's a lot of money, man. It's millions of dollars that you're losing just
because these big banks take all of these chunks in these fees. So not only will it help smaller
banks, small to medium enterprises as well, but it's going to really help out the globe and really
level the playing field. So that's why I talk about XRP the most on my YouTube channel,
because I do think that is probably the best chance anybody has at the next Bitcoin, right?
No one thought Bitcoin would ever go to $100 or $1,000, let alone $60,000 in the last bull market,
and it's going to probably go to a half a million dollars over the next couple of years once all
these spot ETFs come in. I did see Shaw was mentioning that, you know, the BlackRock question.
It's not just BlackRock, guys. It's BlackRock, Invesco, it's Charles Schwab. There's about
eight or nine companies that have filed for this Bitcoin ETF. And if you don't know what an ETF is,
guys, it's basically when you go with, let's say you want to get, you want to buy some Bitcoin,
but you don't want to hold Bitcoin, right? You don't want to have to have your private keys.
You don't want to go through all that. You just want to be able to get a taste of it without
having to own the asset. So you go through BlackRock, BlackRock will buy the asset for you,
hold the asset until you want to sell it. And then it really does, it puts you at a little
bit of a disadvantage, right? Because depending on what you want to do with that asset, BlackRock
can decide to kind of just hang on to the Bitcoin and just pay you out the money that you were going
to cash out, right? Maybe they are longer on Bitcoin than you are. So it kind of just comes
down to what your financial advisor tells you to do and what you think is best. But ETFs are really
going to supercharge the market because a lot of money will be coming into Bitcoin. Those nine,
those eight or nine conglomerates that are applying for all this stuff, I think they have
like 27 or $20 billion under management. They are telling their customers that, hey, you should be
one to 5% of your net worth into digital assets now. So you're going to see trillions of dollars
coming into the space over this next bull market. And we're going to finally get out of this
speculation bull market into a utility bull market. Because once you have this global regulation
framework, you have Bastl framework for banks so they can not only custody crypto, they can
actually hold it on their balance sheets. That is really going to come into play in like 2025,
unless that is sped up into 2024. So I think 2025 is going to be an incredible year for digital
assets globally. And I'm really getting my community and everyone who watches my YouTube
ready for all of this because there's so much to know. I mean, your memory is between 10, 12,
13 hours a day, six to seven days a week. And I'm learning something every day. So I know that if
there's new people coming into the space right now, you have so much to catch up on. It's not
funny. It really is a hundred foot wall in front of you. But we'll figure out how to get to the
door on the other side that, you know, that you don't have to climb the wall, but we'll help you
learn. We'll help you grow. We'll answer your questions. When you're in crypto, having a
community that you can connect with and ask questions when you don't have to worry about
scammers and like that, that's really important. And that's valuable too, right? And so you just,
how much is your education worth, right? People go to college and they spend hundreds of thousands
of dollars on their college education. This is, I would say, this is better than a college
education because when you get out of college, you're looking for a job for years and you can't
even use that college education. But if you got the same education in crypto, you could set yourself
up for life and you would never have to worry about working again. So, you know, you have to
have the same kind of mindset with your education in digital assets. Okay. Nope, absolutely. And
JB's amazed. Is that really Sensei typing responses with one hand while talking into the camera? So
he is a multifaceted, talented, uh, in a lot of different ways. Um, let's, uh, I, I have,
I have a whole bunch of questions myself. So audience, I will get to yours, but I'm
going to steal some for myself. Um, so what do you think about what's Visa and MasterCard going
to do about this? Like they're not obviously not going to just buckle and be like, Oh, game over,
I guess we're going bankrupt. But like, what's, what's their plan in this? James, I love how you
just tee up the just monster ball for me. Thank you so much for doing that. And we didn't even
set this up beforehand. So it's actually funny. If you look what Visa's acquired over the last
couple of years, uh, they've acquired a company called earth port, which was a ripple partner,
which is a ripple partner. They've also acquired currency cloud, which is also a ripple partner.
So Visa and actually MasterCard and American express are all kind of ripple partners through
these other companies that they have either bought out or bought a large share of. So they
can actually use the system. So now Visa can charge you the same amount, but then they can
pay pennies instead of what's it called. And they can make it even bigger spreads. This really is
about offering customers better services, right? Cheaper services, uh, and, and not only cheaper,
but, uh, easier, right? So when you're sending a wire payment, that usually takes three to five
days. And sometimes you can't even figure out where that payment is in the world. You have
banks saying, you know, kind of cue the payment. They have no idea if it's in, you know, if you're
sending it from like America to China and it has to go through four or five different banks,
they might not know where that money is at any given time. But when you're using digital assets,
it's go, it goes three to five seconds. And so you have, you know, Hey, the money you send the
money and it's there three to five seconds later. So you don't have this wait period.
You can actually get rid of what are called prefunded accounts. So 5 trillion to 15 trillion
locked up in bank accounts all around the globe in what are called prefunded accounts. So if you're
a company and you need to send a million dollars to go buy a machine or something in another
country, you actually have to get a bank account in that country. You have to set up the money.
There's so many fees and it is very time consuming instead of doing all that. Now you can just use
crypto and do that all within three to five seconds. And so it's not only, it's going to
open up more ways for banks and companies to offer better services to people like you and me,
but it'll also give them more transparency of where their money is. And they can actually
take all that money that is locked up around the globe and actually use that to help us or offer
better loans or whatever it is that that bank wants to do. They're going to be able to take
all that money that they would have had locked up and put it. Okay. Very good. Love it, man. Love
it. And audience. Yeah. If you still have a, if you have questions, keep them coming. But I, again,
I have a few of my own. I want him to, I want since they want to get his thoughts on. So who
do you see as the biggest competitors to ripple like stellar or who else is doing this? And do
you kind of see that different banks are going to be using different players or do you think
there's going to end up with one that's the go-to or how do you see it? So it's, it's never going to
be one to rule them all. And I, and I know in, in crypto, we can get a little maxi, we can get a
little petty. But really there's a lot of great systems out there, right? H the fed now just
announced that they're going to be working with Hedera and H bar on that on, on the fed now system,
which is domestic payments, right? But when you go cross border, that is when things really get
tricky. Like domestic payments are pretty much pretty easy. You have the central bank in that
country facilitating it. You have the banks that have the account at the central bank. You know,
that is how money is created. Banks give loans and that's how new money is created. So when you go
cross border, that is kind of the trickier part. So when it's, when you're talking cross border,
Ripple does have some really killer technology and they have a lot of partnerships. I would say
when you're comparing Ripple to Stellar that Ripple has made more inlays and has more central
banks and testing. And Ripple has just joined the new BIS. BIS is the central bank of central banks,
right? They help set policy for other central banks around the world. I think there's like 150
central banks. And so Ripple has joined a new task force with the BIS and other FMUs,
financial market utilities. So in the United States, there's about seven or eight FMUs,
and you can, you can Google financial market utilities and they'll come up. It's like CLS,
the DTCC, these are kind of major conglomerates that process trillions and trillions of dollars
a day. They're basically the infrastructure of the United States to send payments. So I believe
that one day Ripple the company is going to become an FMU because the technology is, it's just so
good, right? How do you, how do you beat that where you can send pretty much any kind of value
of payment for under a penny? I mean, it doesn't really get much cheaper than that for a business,
right? Instead of paying dollars or whatever it is, you're just paying a cent or less than a penny.
So, you know, it really just is a matter of time that these, these companies are going to move
over. But I'm saying for, for the closest competition to Ripple is probably Stellar
and Hedera. XDC is, is, is building out a huge amount of an ecosystem. They're really attacking
the trade fine industry, digitizing trade documents. That is a 19 to $20 trillion a year
system as well. So, and you just saw XDC is now working, Zinfand is now working with Australia
through R3. So, there's a lot of really great things being built out on that ecosystem. You
just have that Ripple and Stellar have been around a lot, a lot, a lot longer. Jed McCaleb
is the founder of Stellar. He had some disagreements back in 2014 with the team at Ripple.
He basically went and copied the XRP ledger. Now it's Stellar. They did do a little bit
different on some tokenomics, but you really kind of look at these and a lot of people just assume
that things can't go to a hundred dollars or a thousand dollars or $20,000, but it's all about
circulating supply of the token, right? And a lot of people think, oh, a hundred billion tokens,
something like XRP has a hundred billion tokens. Ripple really controls like 60% of those tokens.
45 billion of them are in escrow. And then they've boughten back about $8.4 billion worth of XRP
after they got sued. So, they probably have another 15 billion in, in their wallets. And so
that leaves 40 billion for the rest of us. And so, you really start to wonder how much is on all
of these exchanges and what happens if we wake up and some of these banks start to buy digital
assets at alarming paces. What is going to be the circulating supply once that day comes, right?
And so, if the circulating supply goes less than a billion and you're having XRP and Ripple being
moving $5, $10 trillion a day, what do you think the price of XRP is going to be? It's going to be
because you're just moving so much. You can reuse XRP every three to five seconds,
but if you are moving a trillion dollars a day or $5 trillion a day, it's millions and billions of
XRP a second. It's a lot. So, it's going to be very interesting how it plays out, but I do think
XRP is the best bet. It's going to be the next price as far as Bitcoin goes, right? And I do
think it's a five digits or not an if, it's more like a when. When is this going to happen? Whether
it takes five years or 10 years or 20 years, I don't have an answer to that, but when you have
30 plus central banks working with Ripple, you really need to pay attention to that.
Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely agree. What's your take? I think I know the answer,
but I just want to hear it from your mouth. But a lot of people are pretty disappointed
with the Ripple price. A lot of people were predicting, hey, when the lawsuit is finally
won, we're going to see $1, $2, $10 the day after. And it started, we got up to 70 cents or so. We
were looking like we're shooting, but then just back down and now we're not really doing that
well. What's your kind of take on that? So, it's really hard, right? Because everyone expects
something to just go straight up, right? And it's not really how things work in crypto, right? It
has to come back down and set new highs, set new lows. And it really needs to kind of build up and
XRP just passed, I think the 200 weekly moving average for the first time in like years. So,
I do think that it is getting ready for a big move here coming up. I do think we are going to need
more because right now we're still in the speculation retail market. I mean, it's hard
to say it, but that's reality. And a lot of people don't accept reality. Retail is not meant to pump
some of these tokens, right? Because there's just, you have to put so much money in them and there's
only so many people in crypto that have so much money, right? And so, you're waiting for these
institutions like your BlackRocks and your Investcos and all these guys who really come in.
You do have some VCs and some players in crypto right now, but it's nowhere near what it's going
to be in three to five years from now, right? The Ripple does a lot of like surveys with
corporations and things like that. 97% think that they're going to be using digital assets over the
next three years somehow in their company, right? Whether you're using blockchain to protect
customer data or you're using blockchain for payments or treasury management, whatever it is,
these companies know how valuable this technology is. And as quantum computing comes online,
right? Are you really going to leave all of your customers' data and all this stuff in some of
these weaker systems? Or are you guys going to upgrade to something that has blockchain encryption
to keep your customer data safe? And that's why I think you're getting a big push from central
banks right now because currently the Swift banking system, how it is in the correspondent
banking system, it already is hacked with regular computers, let alone quantum computers, right?
So I do think the push towards CBDC adoption over the next couple of years is really fueled by this
quantum computing craze that is going to be hitting the mainstream. And if you've seen a couple of
videos on how those computers work, you kind of understand why stuff needs to move to the blockchain.
So all of your data, your driver's license, your passport, your doctors, your dentist,
all that data is going to eventually live on certain blockchains. And so it does take time
to move to these systems. But just really quickly, James, and before I ask one more question,
I played a few videos of, there's a guy named, is his name Simon Malia? I think his name's Simon.
He works for the ISDA, which is the derivatives market. And the derivatives market is about $600
trillion to $1 quadrillion. And these are kind of like futures and different thing contracts.
And so he was saying that in the near future, you're going to see $2, $3 trillion a day
moving through these systems, right? And so you start to try to figure out like,
what could these systems be, right? And so you know they have to be ISO compliant.
ISO compliant just means that you do like KYC, know your customer, AML, anti-money laundering
checks, you have terrorism checks, you have sanction screening. There's so many things
that normal people don't realize goes into a payment. Like if you're a bank and you send
money to another bank that gives money to terrorism, like you could be facing jail time
or millions of dollars in fines. It's pretty serious. So as all of these systems are being
developed, you're just going to see all this value start to come onto these blockchains.
And when that happens, that's really the time that you're going to want to own some of these
assets. Because if you don't, you're always going to be that drunk person in the bar saying, man,
I could have done this or I could have done that. You know, you have the time to learn now and you
have time to make good decisions. But will you take time out of your life? I know everyone's
life is very busy, but you know, you could spend an extra hour or two a day and really get your
education going and you might not have to work ever again and you can just enjoy life and whatever
you want to do over the next, you know, 20, 30 years, however long you live. There you go.
There you go. We got a lofty leggings. Good to see you. Microphone twins. Yes, sure. You can't
can't beat it on the airdrop for XRP. What is the minimum XRP one should have in wallet?
So if we're talking about the Evers airdrop, you need to have your XRP in a self custody wallet.
I personally use XM. XM is a fantastic XRP wallet. I think there's like 8400 now tokens that are on
the XRP ledger, like Sologenic and a bunch of other ones. There's going to be a lot more in
the future here, but I use XM. And so there's ledger, there's decent, there's several other
ones, but you can't have it on an exchange. You need to have it in a self custody wallet.
The snapshot is September 1st and I think it's like 6 a.m. or 6 p.m. Eastern Australian time.
So wherever that is in your part of the world, I would go ahead and have that your XRP on a
self custody wallet a little bit earlier than the last minute. But some people are going to wait
until the last minute. Step two on that is a little bit confusing right now, what you need to
do, because this is kind of like a fork of the XRP ledger or a side chain of the XRP ledger.
And so there's kind of rumors going around that you need to connect your seed phrase
into this side chain. And so a lot of people are kind of, you know, they don't know what they want
to do. So I'm going to be the test on me. I'm going to take a little bit of XRP, not a lot of
it. And I'll be your test on me here. I'll probably just take like 50,000 XRP and just do one wallet.
And so, you know, be the be the test dummy for the community. So I'll have those videos on my
channel. I just released a video on kind of what you need to do today on the channel. So if you
want to go take a look at that, but just have it in the self custody wallet. And then when step two
comes around, I got to. OK, awesome. Yeah. And my community keep me updated to make sure I get my
XRP airdrop. JV says I'm getting an ad right now on YouTube for XRP. So YouTube's listening.
So you talk about it and then next thing you know, you start getting ads for XRP.
So just remember, guys, anyone saying, hey, send me a thousand XRP and we'll send you back double.
Always a scam, guys. Never send your XRP to anybody or your Bitcoin or whatever you own.
If you do that and you're new in the space, you're going to lose all of it.
And even Twitter, you seem Twitter is terrible. Oh, it's terrible. Even if they have my profile
picture, it is not me. You know, I'll W.W. my money. I get texts all the time from people.
James, are you really going to double my money if I send you a Bitcoin?
And I said I would love to do that. But no, that is not real.
James, you don't have billions of dollars in the bank, man.
Not right now. OK, that's that's the goal, right? That's the goal.
My goal is eventually with my community, I can make it. So if you send me a Bitcoin,
I'll send you to Bitcoin. OK, that's my goal. James wants to know my BlackRock ETF produced
mass pension adoption of BTC. And along with that, I'd like to kind of just hear
you're not a huge Bitcoin guy yourself, right? But just maybe talk through that and then just
your thoughts on Bitcoin in general. Also, I mean, here it is. Bitcoin is a
great store of value, but it's not it's not a serious ecosystem as far as like what can
be built out on it. Right. It processes seven transactions a second. You're never going to
have banks and institutions that are going to use Bitcoin to send payments. That's just not
going to happen. I mean, you might have some terrorists, terroristic banks or whatever that
send money to each other with Bitcoin or Ethereum or whatever it is. But serious banks are never
going to use Bitcoin. Now they're going to they're going to want to custody your Bitcoin like the
custody your money already. So you are going to see over the next couple of years your banks
offering you, hey, you just got paid. You want to put 10 percent of that in Ethereum or XRP or
whatever it is. But it really you just need to be careful with all of that. And so going back,
what was your question, James? My ADHD kicked in there. No, you're good. I kind of just wanted
to hear your take on Bitcoin in general. Yeah, I got you. So the thing is, Bitcoin is like 30,
30 grand or 20 grand today. What else could you buy with that 20 grand? Right. You could buy
you could buy nodes. I mean, there's a couple of node projects that I'm in that are real
projects. But I mean, I just think of like you could own almost, you know, double the XRP. You
could own, you know, four or five times the XLM. You can own, you know, 10 times the XDC. There's
just so many other things that I think over the next five to 10 years, you're going to see them
be at a much higher valuation. Right. Because, you know, I think Bitcoin will eventually get
to half a million dollars. Right. That would be a what do you got, three, 15, like a 15x from here
or a 16x. But that's going to take maybe a couple of years. Now, do you think you could get a same
15x from, let's say, XRP or XLM or HBAR or Casper? I just think there's more money to be made on
other assets, right, that actually have much larger use cases. Don't get me wrong. Bitcoin
was the first. I mean, if you're kind of close to my age, you'll know what Napster was. Napster
was kind of the first music sharing, you know, thing. And then you started downloading all kinds
of viruses. And it was a lot of fun back in the early 2000s or the 90s, whenever that thing came
out. But other systems were built afterwards that were much better. Right. You have your Spotify's
and I use Spotify's. I don't know other music streaming services, but there's just, you know,
Bitcoin was the first. Now, you know, someone like Ripple, you know, 10 years ago looked at
Bitcoin and said, hey, proof of work really doesn't work for what they're trying to do,
building out a global payment system. So they went with a consensus model where you have nodes
that agree on, hey, is this a legitimate payment? Eighty percent of those nodes agree and that
payment goes through. Right. So I just I think regulators are really kind of after the proof
of stake because Cardano is being looked at with the Coinbase and the Binance lawsuit. Cardano's
one of the projects. You know, you just have a lot of things going on with regulators,
especially in the United States. I think the United States has their head up their bums
when it comes to regulation. I'm thankful for the Republicans that are working very hard in
Congress to try to pass legislation in the crypto space. You have a lot of Democrats who are opposed
to crypto regulation, which I don't understand. One out of like six voters or one out of five
voters in America now owns crypto. So it really is kind of like a like Elizabeth Warren is running on
an anti-crypto ballot. Like, I just think it's ignorant, really, because you really lump all
of crypto into a few bad players. And it really it's not there to be a bad player. It's there to
kind of revolutionize how we do things in the world, you know, how we interact with each other,
how we trade value with each other. And I just think there's really it's an educational void,
right? If we could go to Congress and sit them all down in a room for 10 days straight and educate
them on why digital assets are very important, that's great. But, you know, when you have 23,000
cryptos in the world and you really only have like 500 or a thousand that have actual real use
cases that are going to be around once all this global regulation comes in, I think you need to
kind of understand that there's a lot more bad actors in the space than good. And that's why we
need good legislation so we can push the bad actors out of the space and really just focus
on what the good actors are doing. Amen. Amen. Love it, man. Good stuff. Michael Beat says,
has James finally paid the winner of his giveaway? You'll have to be more specific.
I've done hundreds of giveaways. I think they're all paid out. But if not,
shoot me a DM or actually get get in touch with Tyco. OK, if you really want your giveaway paid
out, get in touch with Tyco and it'll get paid out. Scott says, considering XRP is already at
30 billion market gap, are there smaller cap plays that could expend exponentially explode
with the XRP adoption? So you're asking me is are there other tokens that could
explode with XRP adoption? Is that the question? I think so. Yeah. So with XRP,
if it blows up, you know, if Bitcoin blows up, there's a lot of coins that will probably blow
up with it. If XRP blows up, will we see kind of that same are there correlated coins or things
that will go up in addition to it, do you think? So just XLM is really tied tied to it. Like if
you pull up if you pull up charts for both projects and you look at like the last six
months, you will see they really move together, which is very strange because very rarely should
you see two different ecosystems moving at the exact same time. So I think there's going to still
be some kind of lag ahead here in the United States. I think it's going to take some time
before we actually get some legitimate adoption. You're going to see a lot of stable coin adoption
and things like that. Right. It's always stable coin legislation that goes first in any country
because that's what they need for their CBDCs. Right. So you'll get CBDC legislation,
stable coin legislation, and then they'll work on some of these other assets.
Now, are there crypto projects that I'm looking at right now that are not at billions of dollars
market cap? Yes. One would be like BioFi. And there's this new AI project that I'm looking at.
They have like it's like AI.com, but it's like I think it's like an Italian A and not like the
like the English A has a little period at the bottom of it. But actually, I can pull it up on
my computer. I can post in the chat. So being in a community like mine, you have hundreds of people
that are all working together to find stuff. And so it's much easier than you're trying to do it
yourself. So I get a lot of really cool stuff sent to me. Of course, I have to take a look at it all
and it takes time. But there's a lot of really incredible people in crypto areas that all work
together to try to get information across. So this is the project I'm talking about. Let me
post it in the chat. You have like an admin from Pepe on this project. You have an admin from
I think it's Metablocks or Metaplayers. I think it's Meta something. You also have
somebody from Cardano who's very bullish on this project, too. And it's like 300k market cap. That's
a that's a freebie. But things like this is really what we're looking at. I do think, you know,
BioFi, James, and you know all about BioFi. So they're going to have a space here very soon to
kind of go over what this project is going to be. I think it's at about a 250k market cap right now.
But they actually there has some really serious people that are involved with this project. And
it just looks like it's going to really do something. So you have the COO of Cardano
is in their telegram. And he says, I'm all bullish on crypto. I'm a multi-chain future boy.
So you have you just have some very interesting people in this system.
And you just have some really big, big players. And you have like a top Bitcoin
holder that's in this project. Let me just see. I'm trying to go through some of my notes here,
but they're going to be announcing this thing went up to two million and now it's back down.
So this is a really good time to kind of check it out if you want to get some information on it.
But the team told the first utility releasing will be coming shortly. As you know, I am a
marketing degen. Top 10 holders will be added to the chat where we settle the plans. Oh,
----. I am a top 10 holder. I'm looking forward to that. There you go. So, yeah,
I put about 10 grand into that project. So I own about 2 percent of the total supply of that
project. And I think it's going to do some really great things. It's just, you know, when you see
kind of admins from from billion dollar projects joining that project, they obviously are knowing
something that you don't know. So you kind of have to pay attention to that. We are in a kind
of like a weird meme coin kind of season right now. I'm not saying this is a meme coin, but
there are some meme coins like that. Sonic, Obama, you know,
anyone over 8000 percent over the last year or two. It's just it's just crazy.
But there are certain projects that are under a million dollar market cap.
There are two or three of them right now that I think could be a billion dollar market over the
next two, three years. Biofy. Yeah, absolutely. It's a Harry Potter, Obonix, Obama, Sonic,
I believe is the one. So it's it's about it's kind of down. So by the way,
it all hit all. What was this at? What was the entire hit? Oh, yeah, there you go.
Does it say what the full percentages of this project was? Oh, wow. No, not not really.
No. Wait, so we'd had a big bump back here and then it just read. Yeah, now it's redying. So
I don't know what people are putting money into. Like, I don't put money into things like this,
but people love putting money into stuff. Yeah. Who knows why something like this happens?
I honestly I've had no luck with meme coins. I just kind of stay away from like I just have had
no luck. Are you? I think you're on the wrong one. Oh, is that is that the wrong one? I think
you're on the wrong here. Look in the chat. Check this one out. I think I think that's the right
one. Yeah, because the right one is that like 10 cents or something. Yeah, it's at 13 cents.
Harry Potter, Obama, Sonic 10. Oh, this is on BSC. We need the. Yeah, this is up six thousand
eight hundred and eleven percent. Let's see. Harry Potter, Obama, Sonic 10. I know I just can't copy
and paste. Oh, you can't. I'm sorry. No, you're good. That should be it. Click on that one.
You're good. Yeah, there you go. That's that's it. So it's up almost seven thousand percent.
But there are I mean, there are things that are created every day. I think Deepin is going to be
the next really big wave in crypto. It's like decentralized infrastructure. You know, you have
Amazon Web Services that charges a lot for their cloud infrastructure. But some of these projects,
you have like Akash, you have Flux, Filecoin, you have Livepeer. We call Livepeer, you know,
it went up like 60 percent within like a week of us talking about it. So there's just a lot of
really good projects that we share in the community. And, you know, people make money
depending what they're what they're getting into. And so it really, you know, crypto is,
you know, an ecosystem where you have a lot of incredible builders and there's just so much to
know at any given time. It's really impossible for one person to kind of do all of this work
unless you can commit all of your time to crypto. So, you know, if you're just a regular person and
have a job and you have a family and you have hobbies and you have friends, you don't have,
you know, five, 10 hours to research. So spending that time and understanding,
you know, what you could be getting into right now before regulation comes in,
there's just going to be a lot of new millionaires and billionaires made over the next three to five
years. Yep, absolutely. James wants to know, how do we as a crypto community get over the political
influence of banks, Swift and credit card companies wanting to protect their fees?
Well, I think I think you're going to see a lot of pressure, especially on the bigger banks to
drop fees. Right. Because when you can use these digital assets to move, like you don't need all
of these smaller banks needed these bigger banks until now. Right. This is the first time in
history where they don't have to rely on Citibank and Chase and HSBC. Right. They can those three
banks can really set and dictate terms for the rest of the banking world. Right. And so if you're
a smaller bank, you have to pay those fees no matter what you do or you're not a bank anymore.
Now, you don't have to. So you're actually taking huge market share away from these these bigger
conglomerate banks, these incumbents. So, you know, I think, you know, as businesses and as
smaller banks start adopting this technology, you're going to see a big shift in what you're
actually paying for all of this stuff. I think, you know, in the United States,
we're too busy fighting each other to actually set good policy. And it kind of feels like it's
kind of looking like that in a lot of other places in the world. I think with, you know,
with social media and with everything, it's just easier to kind of pin us against each other. And
it's we really need to kind of stop all the BS and all the fighting and just try to move forward
as a society. Right. It does feel like one day I might not be alive here, but one day they're
going to have instead of just every country having their own thing, it's just going to be coming
one world. I think once once aliens actually show up and everyone can see for themselves,
hey, this is going on, I think then you actually have the world that's going to start working
together instead of everybody's all against each other. Right. Because now you have two
factions. You have the NATO faction and then you have the BRICS Plus faction and you have like 50
countries that want to join BRICS Plus. So it is going to be interesting to see how all this plays
out over the next two decades. But you are seeing kind of things being set up to kind of end the
dollar. Right. You see a lot of de-dollarization talk. You see a lot of, you know, the petrodollar
is kind of dead now. Right. Where any gas and oil sold, you know, in the Middle East was done
with dollars. Right. That's why the U.S. dollar has reigned supreme over the last 50 years.
That's coming to an end. And you're seeing countries like the BRICS countries that are
going to meet here in just about three or four days. And they might be introducing a new trading
currency backed by gold. So, you know, all of these countries like Africa, you have diamonds,
you have gold, you have all of these materials and commodities that they could use to help back
up a new trading currency. And I do think that a lot of these countries are going to be moving
away from dollars. And so we're just going to see how this plays out. But we're too busy fighting
each other right now, James, to really kind of make any big impact, especially in our country,
which is sad, man. You know, it's pretty turned out. Yep. At each other's throats, for sure.
Let's see. HBAR. Let's talk HBAR for a minute with Grace. Great price point compared to XRP.
I can load up so much more. What's your feeling and take on HBAR? So I love HBAR. We just talked
about HBAR. I brought it up earlier. HBAR has a high of, let me see, 50 cents in the last bull
market. You know, we're sitting at 6 cents now, so we're looking at least a 8, 8 or 9x just to get
back to the all time high. You'd be talking about, you know, a 16 to 18 billion dollar market cap for
HBAR. You have a lower circulating supply of only 32.98 billion. Max supply is 50 billion,
so half of what XRP is. So I think HBAR is going to do some really great numbers here in the next
bull market. I own I own both. I really like both. And I think I think both are incredible
ecosystems. They kind of do different things. But, you know, HBAR is ecologically friendly.
It's one of the cleanest blockchains that are on the planet. And a lot of people take notice to
that. Right. Because when you're talking about Bitcoin, even though people are finding new ways
to, you know, create, you know, wind energy and solar and all these ways to power mining and
things like that. And still you have people like Christina Georgieva, who's the head of the IMF,
you know, talking smack about Bitcoin. Right. And so, you know, central banks will never
use Bitcoin to do anything because how, you know, how electronically intensive it is
on certain countries. So especially if you start getting like a billion people using
the Bitcoin network, do you know how much energy that would take? I think it would take
all the energy that the U.S. creates in one year is what we need needed to power the Bitcoin network
if a billion people use that network. So and you can imagine how expensive and slow it would be.
Right. You're trying to get there in like two weeks. So I just don't think Bitcoin is a
great store of value for the people that believe in it. But you do have some things in the back
end talking about the NSA, you know, was the ones behind who that created Bitcoin. And,
you know, there's this I think there's going to be some shoes to drop on Bitcoin,
you know, every now and then, you know, in the future that might just take all the sales and
the wind out of Bitcoin. So that's why I don't own it. And I never will. OK, interesting. Yeah,
now and we'll see and we'll see how these ETFs go and all these things. One thing I don't like
about Bitcoin is like I kind of some people were mentioning the market cap is already so high.
It's going to be a lot harder to make money on Bitcoin than it would be like on XRP.
There's a lot more I think there's a lot more potential in XRP and things like that.
But we'll see about these ETFs. The ETFs could be huge.
They are going to see they are. And that's going to pump in the whole the whole market,
guys. Let's let's be honest. I mean, that's reality. You know, is Bitcoin going to still
be around in a decade from now? That's that's a hard question. Right. But making quick money
with Bitcoin, that'll probably happen. But you got to understand, like you can own Bitcoin or
you can own 50,000 XRP over the next five years. What do you think is going to do better?
It's going to be XRP, guys. I mean, there's not enough money in the world that that people own
that they can put into Bitcoin. But when you digitize stocks and bonds and derivatives,
that value comes on to those ledgers, right? Certain ledgers. It's not going to be Bitcoin
because it can't even handle something like that. But it's going to be like your XRPs,
your XLMs and your H bars and your algorithms. So those are going to hold trillions and trillions
and trillions and trillions of dollars in value that will also help the market cap rise up.
If you put a hundred trillion dollars in derivatives on the XRP ledger, what do you
think the price of XRP would need to be to handle all that value? It's not going to be
five dollars or ten dollars. Guys, let me tell you, go to an AI tool, start asking questions
about market caps and saying, hey, if the XLM was used to house a trillion dollars worth of
real estate or. Yeah, that's also one thing to real estate. Real estate is three hundred and
one. Twenty twenty was like three hundred and twenty eight trillion. I've seen numbers as
high as like five or six hundred trillion now globally. So that value is going to live on
certain blockchains, too. Right. So if you take twenty, thirty, forty, fifty trillion dollars
for the real estate value and you put it on a certain ledger, what does that do to the price?
Right. So there's all of these things like circulating supply and how much value is
transacted and how much value is actually on these things, on these ledgers that are going
to really pump that. That's what's going to pump the price. It's not going to be me and you buying
into the token. It's going to be this value that is added to this ecosystem. That is where
real price utility is going to come from. Yep, absolutely. Well, hey, this is a lot to digest.
I appreciate you coming on, man. We got to remember to just keep bugging me about this
because we need to do this once a month or so just to I don't know, I this is a part of the
crypto market that I do not personally give to my audience. So I'm always happy to bring people in.
Like I bring in Professor Keith for some stuff and I bring in crypto Mike for some trading stuff.
And then I love to bring you on for Ripple and just market thoughts and things like that. So
I know what I'm not good at and so like to bring on people for that. So we'll close up there again.
