Video Summary
AI GeneratedAmelia acquires a 1957 Chevrolet shortbed \"barn find\" in Colorado. While the truck features a weathered patina and a rustic exterior, it is a \"sleeper\" powered by a turbocharged 5.3L engine producing roughly 800 horsepower. Despite its raw power, the vehicle suffers from overheating and turbo lag, leading Amelia to seek professional mechanical upgrades.
Last year I found the most perfect blue patina c10 in Arizona and when I bought it the previous
owner told me that he had actually found it on a farm in Colorado. Well I've been in Colorado
all month preparing for Pike's Peak and uh ever since I've gotten here I've noticed something.
Everywhere I look there are the most incredible farm trucks just sitting on open fields and in
backyards waiting to be rescued. And it seems like I may be in the perfect place to find the
perfect truck. I've been here all month and I have looked a ton but most of them seem a little too
far gone. But finally finally I think I have found the perfect truck with the perfect patina and of
course it is sitting on a farm in the middle of nowhere a few hours away. So today we are headed
out to look at what might be the ultimate barn find or should I say farm find. It's a 1957 Chevrolet
shortbed that has been sitting for decades with some of the coolest patina I have ever seen. But
that's not even the best part because underneath that worn out farm truck is a surprise. A very
very special surprise. But we are already chasing daylight to get out there. I've seen only a
couple photos and she looks amazing but I've been burned before. So let's find out if this is another
dream find or if this rust bucket is better left one with the earth. Now I have a five-step plan
like always on how to get a deal assuming that this truck is the right one. Step one bring cash.
Uh $15,500.
Cash acquired. Step two, detailed inspection. Step three, don't get recognized. Step four,
negotiate with no mercy. And step five, drive off into the sunset.
Dude the road literally ends here and turns to dirt. Look at that.
That's how you know you're on a on a good road. It's like perfect perfect time of year too. It's
all nice and green. I know. But how do you figure out if it does a burnout if you don't have any
asphalt to burn? You just do a burnout in the dirt. Look that guy's garage is almost as big
as his house. He's got a three-car garage and a big garage. You see that? Yeah. I am not maximizing
my free will enough. Right. Free will of owning a garage bigger than my house. Wow this is beautiful.
Oh my god. Brother that sign says no trespassing. We're tired of hiding the bodies.
Hello. Are you Kevin? I'm Amelia. Nice to meet you. Pleasure. Oh my gosh. Wait so why are you
selling her? I'm 65 years old. I need to slow down a little bit. Do you though? I'll take you for a
ride. Okay let's do it. That's 800 horsepower. I was gonna ask you how much horsepower it is. That's
not everyday car. For me it's kind of my everyday fleet. I'll be honest. That's cool but I need to
stop getting in trouble. So what you're saying is everyone knows you're on here. They know me
for other things. So I just sold my RZR2. Okay. So but I bought a Polaris Expedition. See I'm
downsizing. Okay okay. A little you know. Right right right. Slowing down just a little. That's
cool. How long have you had this for? Um I don't know. Okay the story starts. You're not videoing
me are you? You want me to blur your face? Whatever. Okay thanks Kevin. So I don't know.
We could look at the title. What happened was we found it in the field over here. Okay. And uh
just sitting brought it away. Okay. I'll bring it outside and everything. Cool. And uh I was talking
to the guy in the bar. I said yeah I've seen that 57. Yeah I've seen that 57. So I asked my wife. I
said I'll buy you dinner if you go up to the front door and ask if it's for sale. Really? And she did
it. I walk up and they're kind of like ooh you know. And we bought it. Really? Yeah. All right
I'll just I'll start out and get it up. Yeah I can't wait to hear this too. You guys know
Oni goes with me everywhere. Whether I'm out the shop traveling filming or racing
she's pretty much always right there next to me. Isn't that right Oni? Oh isn't that right Oni?
And because I love her so so much I do everything I can to take care of her. Her energy, her coat,
her digestion. All those little things that tell you how healthy your dog actually is. That is one
of the reasons I was excited to try Mei. She is so picky and hates kibble so it's always a
challenge keeping her fed with clean food. And what immediately stood out to me is that when you
open the bag it actually looks like real food. You can see the ingredients. Real meat, real fruits,
real vegetables, no mystery pellets, no weird fillers, no food you can't recognize. I am super
diet oriented personally and I've become a lot more intentional about what I put in my own body
over the years and of course I have to do the same for Oni. Oni and I keep it in the freezer and I
usually thaw it out a little bit with some warm water before serving it but she eats it frozen too.
It takes almost no effort and judging by Oni's reaction every time I grab the bag she's a pretty
big fan. Oni you ready for dinner? High five. Yeah good job. 360. 360. Sit. Stay. Okay. There's something reassuring
about looking in the bowl and seeing real ingredients instead of wondering what actually is
in there. If you've been looking for a better food option for your dog definitely Checkout Made.

order. Now if you'll excuse me someone's been very patiently waiting for her dinner and I'm gonna let
her keep eating. So it has a 70 or 80 Camaro front end underneath married to the original frame. Okay.
Because of the torque. Okay. So the body and everything sucks. Okay. No this is my favorite
part of it. No but it's all engine transmission and rear. That's what you're paying for. Sure. You're
not paying for the body. Okay. It's got two fans on it. It's got a transmission fan. Did you take
the grill out to clear the heat exchanger? The grill never even made it on. Okay. Yeah let's pull it out
and look at it. I don't want to hear you fire this up. It started right up. Detailed inspection
is step two. That's what we're doing now. Right Gio? Detailed inspection. Exactly.
All right. So this is a 5.3. Is it iron block? It's a 5.3 redone. The cam, the heads,
everything all redone. Okay. And what about bottom end? Pistons, rods? I know the heads were done.
Okay. But as far as I know the bottom end is stock on it. Do you know what size turbo it is?
No. I don't know. I'm sorry. That's all right. You're way ahead of my game. That's all right.
That's all right. Do you know how much it boosts? I have that stuff written down. The boost. Okay.
But we know 800 horsepower. Yes. Tuned on the E85. Yes. It runs the E85. Yeah.
All he does is 5.3. Got it. Okay. So he finds broken down 1500. Well, I went to him and I said,
I want a cool thing in here. There you go. So it started. This is a cool thing all right.
So he took me for, he has three different vehicles. Okay. He took me for a ride and
it was just like a regular Chevy with a 5.3. Okay. I said, no, I don't want that.
They took me for a ride on this other thing and I go. I got it. I said, yeah, amazing. He built it
and I said, no, it ain't fast enough. Okay. So then we put the turbo in it, beefed up the brakes,
put the E85 on it. Okay. Went from a 460 to a 480 transmission. How's it shift?
You don't shift it. Oh, you'll feel it. I'll take, okay. I'll take somebody for a ride,
but I don't want, I'm not trying to insult anybody. There's a learning curve on every vehicle.
Okay. Okay. But I'll take, take you all for a ride. Oh yeah, but I just don't want you to take
it out by yourself. That's fine. There's a lot of dirt, gravel on them and that goes higher.
So don't, you're gone. Okay. I understand. No problem. But I'm not, I'm not trying to. I don't
think you are. I'm not trying to offend you. I don't think you are. Don't worry. I get it.
So when you set up graded brakes, are you still on drum brakes or did you use disc brakes?
Bigger discs. Oh sick. Can I ask you an innocent question? Was the pitch in the front,
was that a style thing or have you notched the rear? They married the barrel to the frame of
this. That's how they came up with the tilt. Okay. I think I might've told them to do that. Okay.
It has disc brakes, feeling fresh. Awesome. Dumps and sounds so nice. Oh, Nitto tires. Check
that out. I love the side stamps. Why is that Kevin? He's like, I stopped counting after three.
I was going to ask you, is that a cutting brake? Yeah, it is what it is, whatever it's called,
it's for like, like the rear, you can individually lock your front up.
So we put those in there and I sit there and I lock up my front, I spin my back, I get my spool
going because there's just like a three second delay in the turbo. I get that spool going and
then I take off. Wait, so you're telling me these right here for, they're not cutting brakes for
the rear. This is a line essentially for the front for another line lock. Yes. Oh, I saw these.
Wait, wait, what happened? A cop pulled you over for it? No, this road was all in construction.
It was closed. So I went over there and I started doing donuts and after the smoke went away,
there was a cop. I love the truck though. So here's my sense of humor. I have farm tags on
What do you mean farm tags? It's agricultural. But this is a farm truck. Well, technically it is,
yeah. I'm technically an agricultural, I do have cows here. It's really cool. Yeah, I'd love to go
for a ride with you, yeah. We're not going to go crazy crazy, but we'll go a little bit.
You gotta go a little bit. And what was this in the windshield from? That looks like a bullet
hole. That's the way we found it. Really? I was gonna say it looks like a bullet hole.
So the two doors were completely rusted out and I switched, I got the new doors. Yeah. It's all
new glass, new everything. I mean, that's not saying it was done right, but you know the stage
of costs? A lot, I'm sure. They were back ordered like 18 months. But it was, I started in doing a
little bit. This year is so iconic because of the hooded headlights. It's very 57 and Bel Air
inspired. And one of my favorite things about this year. Well, you should see my 56 next door
then. That'd be cool. It's a GMC with a 10 piece bumper system on the front. Oh, I'd love to see
that. Yeah, I might be leaving with more than one truck today. So we like, my wife likes riding with
us and then we pull up next to people and it's like, ah, look at that piece of ---- and blah,
blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And my wife says, bye bye. And we just take off and they just hang
back. You know, those chargers and the six cylinder, you think they're bad-ass and everything.
I actually raced a Tesla and got my ass kicked. They're fast. They, I'm old school. Okay. That
thing blew me away. Yeah. Instant torque. We caught up with the light again. He was laughing
his ass off. We were laughing. He blew me away by half a mile. I caught up at like 150 miles an hour
Yeah, whatever. Well, let's go take it for a ride then. Yeah, let's do it.
You guys look at the rust underneath by chance? Yeah. I mean, there's rust. I'm not selling you
the body. They're not talking about the body. The body, I understand. Just making sure the
frame is good. Noted. 10 grand is not acceptable of an offer. I took it off Facebook. I was just
going to leave it there for whenever. That's funny. You're just about to take it down.
Well, I didn't think you guys existed either. So I'm racing Pike's Peak this year. Awesome. Yeah.
And I'm going after the production record with my C8 Corvette, the new ZR1. So it's been a lot
of fine-tuning the car. Maybe you don't have to explain to me. No worries. I just felt terrible
because we had been talking so much about coming to meet. Oh, what's up? Hey, let's go. Hey,
we're here. Hop in. Yeah. You do have to put on what somewhat of seatbelt we have. Oh, yes. Please.
It doesn't go up, so. That's all right. I mean, oh no, it doesn't go up. This doesn't go up.
Just kidding. Shut up. This is for the transmission cooler. What's this? That used to be the front
line lock brakes, but it doesn't work. Okay. Oh, you have an OBD2 in here. That's for the
computer. Yeah. Yeah. I have a 70's C10 that I got that's a really pretty blue patina that has
the turquoise brick in it, which is like the inline six. And it's manual. And it feels weird
to sit in a truck without the wrong gears right now. Well, that's the thing. All my trucks have
gears in them. I said, no, I wasn't going to buy it. Yeah. It's better. I used to race dirt track
and I had a stick and I was like, man, why didn't I put an automatic in that?
I go, here's the OBD2. I realize the ECU is sitting right here.
Now, this is such a cool truck. This truck doesn't like concrete either.
The car and the tires won't. You feel the dirt back there? How is nothing?
Do you keep up with like regular oil changes and maintenance on it? It hasn't
had a chance to even go there. It's only got 2000 miles on it. With the new engine? Yeah.
Oh, really? Yeah. I don't do anything with it. I have other vehicles that just,
I have never used it. Was it running before or you just got it running?
What do you mean? Like, did it have the, like the factory gear inline six in it?
No, it had nothing in it. So you just got this running?
Well, I got it a couple of years ago, but. But I mean, in terms of like 2000 miles.
That's it. Brand new, 2000 miles. It does a lot better, but it's safer.
How did that thing go? Dude, they're flying. Damn, that thing's fast.
Dude, I just, you see it start and then it's just gone.
Well, all right. That thing sold.
It's okay. When I saw this look based in Marketplace, I thought, this can't be real.
It's real alright. See, I got a lot of money in it. You never get the money back.
No, never, never. So you're really not going to buy something else?
Well, I bought that, that Glarus Expedition.
And that was after you sold your last sideway side, right?
Yeah. So I sold the Racer and bought an Expedition. If I got to buy something for this,
maybe an El Camino. Oh, that'd be cool.
Like a 454. That'd be cool.
With a four speed. Damn, how'd you, why'd you get me going?
Poor car people.
Well, I have more trucks, so. Sure, fair, I mean.
He was looking down at something.
I see what you mean by the cops going out of nowhere.
Hey, you had to have one last scare, right?
I still have a heart at least, so I get in trouble.
Did you see the cops? Oh, yeah.
We get in, he goes, they're not here, but they go. And I was like, they're going to follow us.
He's like, I didn't see them in the rear view mirror. I'm like, well,
yeah, we just saw like a little red, like missile fly, and then another time.
Give me a few horse trailers.
The carrier bolts are, that's some flavor to them.
You hear rattling in the back?
No, I didn't. If I'm about to drive it, I'm just going to click once over.
This thing's fast, but yeah.
It's smooth.
It probably could use changing, but I'm all in one synthetic.
Look at that, some nice new disc brakes, good tires.
How was it?
It was fine. I don't think it's 800, 700 horsepower. I think he said 800.
It feels more like five to six, but I don't know what the truck weighs.
Also with evolved oil.
Yeah, but it's smooth. It's nice. I wouldn't want that much horsepower in this truck anyways.
Dude, honestly, that could be it too.
But no, this thing in all respects is exactly what it needs.
I couldn't imagine any more horsepower on this.
Not without a shoulder belt or a little more safety.
Yeah, just a lap belt.
We don't need a belt technically, right?
I do want to find a way to drop the rear.
I'll have to notch the frame.
So single owner, grocery store getter.
Yeah, sure.
Do you think this will make me back to Colorado Springs?
Oh, hell yeah. We go to Colorado Springs all the time.
Okay, cool.
With a ticket or without a ticket.
To be determined.
We're looking at some numbers here.
I'm not getting a ton of info on the build, which is okay.
Drive and feel is great.
It looks like this is a half ton truck.
And looking at the engine castings, this is an iron block 5.3
with aluminum factory 706 casted heads.
So this is the engine that came out of the Vortec
that's been spooled and made for more boost.
Is that good or bad?
That's good.
I can handle more boost.
I mean, it can handle your heavier foot.
Step two, detail inspection.
Check.
Step three, hope he doesn't recognize me.
He has no idea who I am.
Step four, negotiate with no mercy.
Step four and a half.
Honey break.
Hi, baby.
It's a happy girl.
Okay, is this the negotiating part?
Don't beat me up now.
So you said you chased someone away for offering 10.
Oh, yeah.
I got over 30 grand in it.
I believe it.
And I'm not asking that.
You can see that.
Yeah.
I know I can't get it back.
Was... I imagine you listed it
knowing there was a number that you really wanted to take home at?
Well, I kind of got down to the number that I was down to.
Oh, you did?
Yeah, because I could just put it away and I don't need the money.
Oh, I see what you're saying.
The economy could get better next year.
Maybe somebody would come along.
Okay.
You have it listed for 15.5 right now?
Right.
Yeah.
How about...
I don't know.
I like you.
I don't want a low volume.
The truck's fun.
I'll go 15.
Let's do that.
I'm fine with 15.
That make me happy, make you happy?
Let's do 15.
Because I could sit here and try to low volume.
But I'm not, you know,
put small.
You guys are going to have fun with it.
I believe it.
I'm good with that.
I could have low volume, Gio.
I could have done it.
I was going to say 10.5.
When you said 10, I was like...
I was like, oh, it's not my deal, man.
I like Kevin.
He's nice.
And I always know that, you know, an extra couple grand, it is a lot of money.
And it is for me too.
But it goes a long way for someone else more than it does for me.
I recognize that.
I make a good living off of YouTube.
So I always feel bad low volume people.
So I guess I feel that's step four, huh, Gio?
But I'm still going to make step five, which is driving away into the sunset.
Oh yeah, exactly.
I messed up on the negotiation.
Yeah, what happened to no mercy?
Negotiate with no mercy.
Negotiate with lots of mercy.
I felt bad.
It's always cheaper to buy it already built than to build it yourself.
But if you build it yourself, you get what you want.
I'll show you one next door.
It took over 30 years and two wives.
Do you need me to sign anything?
I just need to see some money.
Oh yeah, right.
About that.
I forgot about that part.
All right, so you said you take credit card.
Is Amex okay?
Thank you.
Yeah, count that for me, please.
Yeah, I will.
That's fine.
I love the world.
I couldn't give a straight face.
I tried.
We have a lot of guns out here.
Oh, we saw the signs.
Yeah, we saw the signs.
Should we call before we just pull in the driveway?
I got a Barrett 50 cal.
Do you really?
That's so cool.
Are you allowed to shoot Barrett 50 cals out here?
You can do anything you want out here.
Really?
You know, have you guys heard of exploding targets?
Yeah.
Do you have them?
That's what we do, right?
You don't see the range right there?
We blow up refrigerators.
I thought that's where you hide the bodies.
No, that's over there.
Oh, that's so sick.
This is kind of the old Wild West out here.
I love it.
You guys want to see the 56 next door?
Yeah, I'd love to.
Oh my gosh.
So this is...
Whoa, this is nice.
...to get done.
But look at the front end though.
That's the key is the GMCs are upgrades to Chevys.
Yeah.
This is so sick.
What he's saying is he just sold you a truck, but he has a nice one.
Yeah, this is why this was in the other garage.
This is a dedication to my sons and I'd also this one.
This is beautiful.
I really love the front end on these.
That's what makes the whole truck.
Yeah, this is nice.
I like that.
You still like your ride with?
Yeah, but maybe one day I'll like...
I like the patina like farm trucks.
So maybe one day I'll do something like this.
Do it all patina and then just have a clean...
Yeah, honestly, that'd be sick.
Yeah.
I like that it's like actual farm truck ride home too.
Everybody just slams them and you see them everywhere like that.
It's cool.
I love this.
Yeah, that's my regular driving truck.
Yeah, for every thousand miles, can't beat it.
They don't make them like they used to.
Thank you very much.
And their seat sliders.
I gotta see.
Okay, windows down.
Seat belts on.
Oh, this is gonna be like driving a bus.
Yeah, you gotta slam that one.
I'm kind of scared.
Yeah, it's about a farm truck.
You just figured that one out?
That's gotta be a bullet hole.
I think it's a bullet hole.
That has to be.
Thank you so much.
Have a blessed one.
You ready?
As ready as I'll ever be.
Let's go.
I don't know if I can ever change the front glass.
Yeah, I don't know.
It kind of gives that hood rich vibe.
I can't believe I just bought this 1957 Chubby Fark truck.
I guess.
Horsepower.
Proper turbo lag if I've ever experienced.
I think that's the first time I've experienced a turbo lag.
Like three seconds.
Oh yeah, delay.
I get home, take out, call my mom.
I can do a full job before there's turbo school.
Exactly.
I know.
I was kind of like waiting for it and then it just.
It's like in those videos when you do something embarrassing and you try to go,
but then you're like, does it go?
It doesn't go.
See, one, two.
Yeah, like four and a half seconds.
Now I need the pull handle for the horn.
She runs and drives good.
She just runs hot.
I think we can fix the overheating issue with another fan, a bigger fan, a better fan.
Then ask them at Porsche.
I'd be like, you ever done an alignment on a 57 Chevy?
Not until today.
Oh, they're honking.
Look at these guys.
Can you see the little baby truck on the big truck?
It's strapped down too.
It's funny.
Here we are, Porsche Colorado Springs.
Let's see if anyone's in today.
I really hope everyone's having a day off, but I see some race cars outside.
They're going to be so confused until they realize it's us.
I think they're going to be like, oh, that tracks.
Why is there an old pickup truck coming through?
All right, burnout.
Jason's here.
Hi, guys.
You guys work on Chevy trucks here?
Oh, you know it.
That's how I learned.
Sounds great.
And a fuel cell.
Yeah.
Nice.
Running on E.
Smells like it.
Not the windshield.
Can you see the bullet hole?
It's all the patina.
Yeah.
Beautiful.
Yeah.
Not from California.
I just bought this.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
Cool.
All right, get a grill for it.
It's overheating.
Get a proper fan for it.
Yeah.
Get some chrome headlight bezels, a chrome grill.
I haven't decided if I want to slam it or not.
You want to see what's under it?
Oh, just ignore it.
How's it ride?
It's all right.
Dude, once it squawks with the power, it's fine.
So in high school, I built a 76 GMC pickup.
Okay.
Which will drive lots of rust.
Sick.
But it would run 9,200 RPM in third gear at like 147 miles an hour.
That's wicked.
Yeah.
All the kids with the Camaros and the Mustangs couldn't keep up with it.
Well, let's wait till you see what's under the hood.
Sweet.
Nice.
Very nice.
I don't trust the hood.
I don't either.
Cool.
The guy said it makes 800.
I think those numbers are padded.
Sure.
It feels more like four to five.
Right.
Takes about five seconds for the turbo to spool and hit.
Pretty cool.
Is that how you build it?
You know, I've never put a four-style S in a truck.
Yeah.
I've always done ultra high compression and big cams and, you know, the Holley 750s on top and,
you know, NA power.
But this is probably pretty cool.
I saw this on Facebook Marketplace and I always wanted a 57.
I was like, we got to go take a look.
You know, the body looks okay.
It really does.
Yeah.
I like the patina on it.
Yeah.
You can clear it and call it good.
Yeah.
Words from the guy.
He's like, you're not buying it for the body.
But then Priscilla told me he has no idea if the bottom end's been built,
what kind of cams in it, any of the work.
Yeah.
It's just running boost.
So yeah, very good.
It makes cool turbo noises.
See the boost controller?
No.
It's just a little screw thing right there.
Don't burn your hand, but you just can twist it in and out.
Turn it down.
I'll show them the brakes.
Oh yeah.
Yeah.
Does it stop?
No, it stops.
You want to see something interesting?
Apparently the car had too much power for a line lock.
So he installed these manual front, left, front, right hand brakes for the brakes.
Very cool.
So you got to pull them both to do a burnout.
And if you have pressure on one, it'll just start spinning.
How many burnouts have you done?
Not enough.
Yeah, not enough.
I like it.
Thanks.
Oh, the things you find on Marketplace.
My last find on Marketplace was a semi truck.
Was it really?
It's super cool.
It's a cab over.
That's so sick.
I'll bring it down.
You can drive it.
I would love that.
I've always wanted to drive one.
Does it have the Jake brake?
No, no Jake.
10 speed Eaton Fuller.
So unless you know how to rev match and double clutch.
That's so cool.
It's cool though.
I would love to drive one of those.
11 liter Cummins.
It's 13 feet tall.
And it's a class 8.
Why did you buy this?
To support local racing efforts.
I flatbedded it.
Okay.
Yeah, so you can put anything on it you want.
Oh, cool.
Oh, that's so sick.
I love that.
They're like, what is this thing?
This is a Porsche dealership.
What is that?
Why is this engine up front?
There's a little bit of oil in the front there.
Yeah, that's some oil.
Huh, looks like it's running pretty hot.
Is that an LS in that thing?
Yeah, that's a 5.3.
Funny.
What do you guys think?
It's pretty cool.
Yeah?
That's a rad rod.
I love rad rods.
Oh, hell yeah.
Is it fast?
It scoots and boots.
I saw you pull that flashlight out.
I'm like, he sees all oil all over the inside of that engine bay.
Well, you know, that's just, that's part of it.
You find all the problems.
Yeah, just don't look too closely.
The questionably protected power steering line.
Yep, yep.
Oh, those are leaking.
Don't worry about those.
Yeah, I saw that.
I think there's a little of every fluid leaking underneath this thing right now.
You know, I hesitate to call my car a rad rod, but it's also leaking every fluid.
Yeah, if it's leaking, that means it's got fluid.
Exactly.
It's when it stops leaking, you gotta worry.
Oh yeah, it's like most British cars.
Do you like how it looks like he just cut the radiator shroud in half
and mounted one on the front and one on the back?
Did you see that?
How big is that turbo?
Dude, he didn't even know.
So I have no idea.
All I know is it takes five seconds to spool.
What do you think?
Will you guys service this?
Big turbo, it spools.
Farm truck.
No, I'm headed there next.
Yeah.
Nice little patina.
Just like the ZR1 in the back.
That's right, business in the front.
Yeah, that's right.
You wanna go for a ride?
Really?
Okay.
Safety third.
Oh, the extinguisher's right here.
Oh yeah, if you need one, stay behind the seat.
Which is a highlight.
I might wanna like hold that.
Yeah, no, I was holding it the whole time to be honest.
I get it.
You feel it rocking side to side?
What year is it?
57.
That's a good year.
It's too small, I can't see it.
You see how long it takes to spool up?
Yeah, oh yeah, you could eat a sandwich.
Did they give you fair warning that it's gonna get hot really fast?
Yeah, he did.
But you drove it all the way back?
Yeah.
From wherever?
I have no idea from where, but yeah.
It took a long dirt road to get there and there were some cows and a sign that said
no trespassing, I'm tired of hiding the bodies.
Yeah, yeah, no ----.
That's probably like not even far from the truth there.
Yeah.
I think you did good, I like it.
I mean, this is just fun.
It's just goofy fun and that wouldn't change a thing, would it?
I don't think so.
I might lower the rear, it kind of looks a little funny and the cast was kind of crazy
in the front, but.
Yeah, maybe just upgrade the cooling so you can drive it more.
Yeah, that'd be nice.
I can go more than five minutes at a time.
Exactly, and then enjoy it.
What does he do?
Burnouts.
Do you smoke your burnouts?
Impress your friends?
Yeah.
I don't know what happened to my door handle, I'm gonna get a door handle.
I gotta get out of here somehow.
You got it.
You're in an emergency.
Just reach around and, you know, you'll be fine.
You'll be fine.
All right, what do you say we see if this old truck can do a burnout?
Dude, I got lost.
I had no clue where you were at or where I was at.
Just a little bit.
Oh, she popped it.
It's boiling over real good now.
I don't think the right one does the right brake.
I think the right one does the left brake and the left one does the right one.
I think they're backwards.
I realized that halfway through.
What'd you get to, 260?
I just pinned on hot.
This guy looks like he, uh, he spent.
Look at him, he's like, oh, he's like, he looks like a drunk guy who just threw up.
He looks tired.
Oh, buddy.
Jebediah, what if, what happened?
Once we figure out the cooling, this thing's gonna be perfect.
It has a cooling issue?
He bought a 57 Chevrolet truck.
Sidestep short bed, I love it.
We need to do something about this turbo lag and then also the overheating.
But aside from that, I'm very happy with my barn find purchase.
Let me know if you guys think that I should bag it, drop it.
I'm definitely doing all chrome.
I love the engine that's in it.
Let me know what you think that I should be doing to it.
I am so nervous because I'm about to call the giveaway winner right now
for the 2017 Cadillac CTS-V plus $10,000 cash.
This is the first giveaway that I have ever done on the channel.
And the winner, her name is Nicole.
She's already been contacted by the sweepstakes,
sweepstakes company that handles the giveaway.
I'm nervous.
I'm so nervous for this phone call, but I'm going to call her right now.
Hello.
Hi, is this Nicole?
It is.
Hi, this is Amelia Hartford.
I can't believe it.
I can't believe it either.
I know I'm going to get a call.
And it's so unfortunate that I know before you know.
And so I thought it was going to ruin the surprise in general.
And I'm all, no, but I get to surprise her too.
Yeah.
I know this is your first in this.
I've never won anything ever.
And I was, I completely this whole time going, no, this is fake.
I am grinning cheek to cheek for you right now.
And I've been hesitant to tell anybody, even my man.
I'm like, I don't want to tell him.
I don't want to get so excited.
And then my hopes get broken.
No, get excited.
You freaking won a car and $10,000 cash.
The first giveaway I've ever done.
Like I am so stoked.
I just can't believe it.
It is hilarious and great.
And you sound just like you do on all your YouTube.
So I know it's you.
I hope so.
I mean, AI is pretty crazy nowadays, but no, this is me.
And this is my personal cell too.
So we're going to be going through this journey together.
Being my first giveaway and your first giveaway win.
What do you drive now?
Actually, I have a Charger and a Challenger.
Oh, sick.
Dude, a freaking car girl won my first giveaway.
I love this so much.
I'm glad to hear that this car is going to a good home.
You're going to love it.
It's so much fun.
Like it's the smiles per gallon are genuine whenever I drive it.
So I love it.
You're going to love it.
I appreciate you entering this giveaway and buying a shirt and sweatpants.
And I hope they keep you comfy while you're up in the Cadillac.
But I just wanted it for him because his birthday is Sunday.
Oh, really?
This Sunday?
Yeah.
And so since then, I bought another shirt.
I'm like, well, now that I'm on the car, I saw that you went back and bought more afterwards.
So I was like, I think she knew and went back to buy more.
All right.
Have a great evening.
Good luck on your race.
Thank you.
I'll talk to you soon.
Bye.
Oh, my God.
I love that a girl won my first giveaway.
That means so much.
You guys see my cheeks are smiling so much.
It literally makes my day to make someone else happy and to bring joy to them.
And you guys see that and you know that already.
Thank you, everyone who entered for their chance to win.
And I hope I can continue doing more of this.
I mean, if I'm going to be selling merchandise, I would love for anyone to buy something to
also have the opportunity to win a car and cash.
Yeah, that would just be my day to be able to surprise her with that.
And there will be many more coming soon.
Let me know if there's like a specific car you guys would like to see for the giveaway.
I have some ideas.
