🌻Public Shows Support for Falun Gong’s Efforts to End Persecution on Helsinki Day

June 12, 2026, marked Helsinki Day, an annual celebration commemorating the founding of the city of Helsinki. Hundreds of free events were held across the city in neighborhoods, parks, cultural centers, and public squares.

Falun Gong practitioners also took part in the festivities at the Esplanade Park near Helsinki Harbor. During the event, they introduced visitors to the principles and benefits of Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) and raised awareness about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) 27-year-long persecution of the practice. They also informed the public about allegations of forced organ harvesting from imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners and the trafficking of organs for profit.

The event attracted a steady flow of visitors throughout the day. Some stopped to watch the practitioners perform the peaceful meditation exercises, while others read information displayed on multilingual banners. Many people gathered around the information booth to learn more and signed a petition expressing their support for ending the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
