Peaceful Appeal Outside the Chinese Embassy Calling for an End to the Persecution

In Finland, the Chinese Embassy has been the only place where Falun Gong practitioners have maintained a peaceful presence for more than two decades. They display banners, hold peaceful sit-ins, distribute informational materials, and practice the Falun Dafa exercises. Through rain and snow, their peaceful efforts have never ceased.

Each year, as July 20—the anniversary marking the beginning of the persecution—approaches, more practitioners gather at the embassy to peacefully and rationally express their shared appeal: End the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners who uphold the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and safeguard freedom of belief and fundamental human rights.
