🌻Falun Gong Practitioners in Finland Call for Attention to the CCP’s Organ Harvesting in Front of Parliament

The Finnish Parliament’s annual session usually begins in early February each year, when the members of Parliament return from their recess to hold the first plenary session of the new year, elect the Speaker, and officially start the new legislative work. February 3, 2026, was the day when Finnish MPs returned to the Parliament and resumed their session schedule.

That day, with the temperature dropping to minus sixteen degrees and thick snow covering the lawn in front of the Parliament Building, Falun Gong practitioners braved the cold to hang banners, do the exercises, and neatly display photos of practitioners who were persecuted to death in China. They aimed to inform members of Parliament, parliamentary staff, and the Finnish public that the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party is still ongoing, including the inhuman act of forced organ harvesting. The practitioners hoped Finnish MPs would pay attention to this issue and consider how Finland could play a role at the European Parliament level and in international cooperation to combat organ trafficking in China.
