Rome Event Receives Support from Public Officials as Parade Showcases Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance

June 27, 2026 – Rome

Massaro, Vice President of Rome's 12th Municipal Council and Deputy Secretary of the Rome branch of Forza Italia, visited Piazza Vittorio to meet with Falun Gong practitioners from across Europe. He spoke about the positive values of practicing Falun Dafa and living according to the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, while calling on the public to pay attention to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China and to help bring it to an end.

Also attending the event were Monsignor Luis Miguel Perea Castrillón, Ordinary Bishop of the Anglican Episcopal Church of Europe, and Antonio Stango, President of the Italian Federation for Human Rights. They expressed their support for Falun Gong practitioners. The event also received letters of support from several public officials.

June 28, 2026 – Historic Center of Rome

The magnificent music of the European Tian Guo Marching Band echoed through Rome's historic streets. Banners reading "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and "Falun Dafa Is Good," together with dragon dances, lion dances, and waist drum performances, attracted the attention of many spectators. The peaceful and dignified procession inspired numerous passersby to stop, watch, and capture the memorable moments with their phones.
