🌻Commemorate the April 25th Peaceful Appeal in Finland

On April 25, 1999, more than ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners went to the National Appeals Office in Beijing to peacefully petition. This event has been regarded by the international community as “the largest and most rational rights-defending action in China’s history,” yet it was misrepresented by Jiang’s faction of the Chinese Communist Party as a “siege of Zhongnanhai” and later used as a pretext for the persecution of Falun Gong.

For the past 27 years, Falun Gong practitioners around the world have upheld a spirit of peace and rationality. Despite pressure from the Chinese Communist Party, they have persisted in opposing the persecution. Each year around the anniversary of “April 25,” Falun Gong practitioners in Finland hold protest rallies in front of the Chinese embassy.
