Falun Gong Activity in Helsinki’s Kamppi Draws Public Attention

On August 15, 2026, Falun Gong practitioners once again held an activity in the Kamppi area of Helsinki. On the same day, the Asian Design Culture 2026 event was taking place at Narinkkatori Square, bringing significantly more people to the area than usual. This also gave more members of the public an opportunity to learn about Falun Gong.

At the event, practitioners introduced Falun Gong through banners and raised awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) ongoing persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, including crimes such as forced organ harvesting. The messages on the banners attracted the attention of many passersby. Many people stopped to learn more and signed a petition to express their support.

At the same time, some members of the public became interested in the Falun Gong exercises and, with guidance from practitioners, tried the five sets of Falun Gong exercises.
