Mountain Village Life | Cooking Traditional Meatballs with Wild Herbs & Firewood
7 Video Views·May 6, 2026
Today in our mountain village, the girls climb the trees to gather fresh leaves for the sheep and goats, while I walk into the forest to collect dry firewood for cooking.
Back home, my mother lights the fire, my sister feeds the animals, and we begin preparing a traditional village meal. We chop fresh beef, pound it by hand with stone, mix it with crushed split peas, onion juice, salt, pepper, dried mint, walnuts, and dried sour plums. Then my mother prepares a rich tomato sauce over the fire, and we cook the meatballs slowly with potatoes until everything becomes soft, warm, and full of flavor.
Thank you for watching. I hope you enjoy today’s video and follow our village life journey.
