In this episode, you will see the preparation of a type of bread made with lentil flour and milk. Alongside the bread, Grandmother cooks some lentil soup, while a village girl prepares lentil patties; she chops walnuts, adds lentils and eggs to the mix, and fries the patties in hot oil.
The villagers grow their own ingredients—such as flour and lentils—on their own land and obtain eggs from the chickens they raise themselves.
