Join Memphis and me for a special "Day with Memphis" adventure as we head to Traverse City for her birthday month! Our day started with some backyard chaos involving the neighbor's chickens and a mysterious "wand" find before hitting the road for a long trip. We made sure to stop for some essential snacks, including a McDonald's run, to keep our favorite Siberian Husky happy during the drive.
One of the biggest highlights of our trip was stopping at the elk park in Gaylord, Michigan. Memphis got surprisingly close to some massive elk, and her reaction to seeing these "giant dogs" was absolutely priceless! We also spent some important time at physical therapy with Dr. Zimmerman and Miss Paula, where Memphis worked hard on the wobble board and the water treadmill to keep her muscles strong and healthy.
To wrap up our big day, we did some pet-friendly shopping at Hobby Lobby and PetSmart, and even met a long-time viewer named Ally! After a busy afternoon of treats, photo shoots, and navigating some Traverse City flooding, Memphis was one tired husky. It was a beautiful day of making memories and making sure our girl feels her best. Life is short, make memories with your dogs!
