Husky Puppy Snuggles with Big Sister

Good wonderful beautiful morning Pawdience. I have to say, I think that's the cutest thing you've done since you've been here. Memphis was laying here upside down and Kira was like that looks like a really comfy spot to take a nap. I'll lay right next to her. Memphis doesn't seem to care. She didn't move. She didn't squirm. She's just like, oh, this is what we're doing? Memphis does like snuggles. So I think over time she's really gonna enjoy these snuggles. I think she's actually really enjoying this one. Are you enjoying them snuggles? Yeah? Shelby's over here. Stole the afghan. I was getting ready to edit a video for you guys and she's like, I'm gonna get couch advantage and steal this blanket. Last night went pretty well. She actually slept for what? Almost six hours straight. So that was pretty nice. That's the benefit of getting a puppy at nine and a half weeks old, not eight weeks old. They sleep a little longer. So far so good. Memphis and Kira are playing. Shelby's trying to be the wrangler. I'm trying to edit a video, but everything's too cute. I can't handle it. This is exactly what I thought was gonna happen. Yep. Cuz Kira's not gonna beat Memphis up like Shelby and that loud mouth. You gotta be nice. You gotta be nice. Kira's doing the play bow. She's like, check this out. And again. No, not anymore. She's like, I got this. I can take on these dogs. She played with a lot of big dogs though, so... She doesn't have a lot of fear. She is. Is that the safe spot? Daddy protected me. That's pretty good girls. It was pretty good play session. Memphis is like, I like this thing you brought home for me. This is kind of fun. You like that Memphis? Careful. She's like, this is all the space she gets. Shelby. Shelby, you turned into Shiloh. Remember when Shiloh didn't like fun? She would bark at everybody? No fun allowed. I think she's happy. Here they come. There she goes. There she goes. We could probably... There's the hop. Where's the puppy? Yeah, where's the puppy? You got Kira. You got her. It's happening. So Kira was on the couch. Jamie had just put her up here on the couch. And Shelby saw Kira there and chose to jump up on the couch right next to her. You chose that position Shelby. So Kira snuggled right in. That's awesome. Yeah. Oh, that's such a good girl. So Kira likes the vacuum cleaner. A lot. I think this is gonna make cleaning a little... It's like a game now. It's like keep away. She's like, I like this game. This game is fun. How do you wear out a puppy? Let them play with a vacuum cleaner. So John Matthew came to see the puppies. Shelby's like, I want to come see you. That's a puppy size. That's a John Matthew size dog, huh? Puppy's like, I'm out. I'm in the kennel. Yeah? There's so many things to play with. She's a nice puppy. You gotta put your hand up. She won't hurt ya. Look out, Memphis is coming from behind. Memphis is like, I'll kiss ya. What's that puppy doing? What are you doing? Where's the ball? Really? Shelby's like, alright, I wanna be the center of attention. Okay, I got it. I got it. Yeah. I threw it for her. She wants attention too. John Matthew! Hi! Hi! Kira's like, I'm just gonna follow you. You're fun. You're fun-sized. So, Miss Kira had a whole heck of a lot of visitors today. So did Shelby and Memphis. They got lots of love today too. I make sure to tell everybody that comes over to see the puppy, not to leave out Memphis and Shelby. So, they got lots of love today too. As you guys saw earlier, I only got a couple clips, but John Matthew was here. My mom and dad came over. My brother and his wife came over. Cory and Lexi came over. Greg was here. Jamie's cousin was here. So, Kira got an influx of friends of ours stopping by to say hi today, which is good. She needs to realize that people coming in and out of this house is a very normal thing, right? It's a very normal thing. I don't know about her, but I'm tired. You don't look tired at all though, do ya? You have freckles on your leg and it's adorable! I love it! Are you guys sick of seeing the puppy yet? Cause I have a feeling it's gonna be a lot of what's gonna be the next few days at least. It'll be a lot of puppy stuff. Little puppy's laying down on Shelby again. Shelby seems okay. You got a new friend, huh Silvers? You guys are adorable. Yeah. Yeah, hi Shelby. Yeah, I see you. I see you. We're watching Jeopardy. The same guy that keeps winning. His name's James. Yeah. So everybody's enjoying dinner. One of the ways we're teaching Kira that a crate is really fun, is we're making sure to feed her in it. Because as of right now, she hates it. So I feed her in it and as soon as she's done, I open it up and let her out. Before she has a chance to get upset. Right? Before you can get upset, we let you out. And part of the reason I want to do it before she gets upset, is when she gets upset, she gets really vocal. And I don't want her to think that when she makes noise, she can come out of the crate. So we're making sure to feed her in it. I put her blanket in there and her pillow from her bed in there. And every once in a while, I throw a couple toys in there as well. So, there's some words of wisdom for you. See? Now she's going in and out of it on her own. She wouldn't do that the other day. You're not having none of that puppy business, are you? What do you think Kira? What do you think, huh? Shelby's not growling. She's just making her throaty noise. Yeah, I know. She's like, I don't want to play right now. Memphis was playing. Now she's like, I need my break. You don't have as much energy as that puppy, do you? Are we ready for night number two? Huh? So we've been taking that pink bed. I mean, I guess we've only done it one night. But we took that pink bed into the bedroom last night and it worked. She went right to sleep. We tried putting her in a kennel, as I said earlier, and she absolutely hated it and screamed like a crazy person. Today she did much better with going in and out of it. Jamie and I tried to leave her alone for a little bit earlier and she screamed like a crazy person. We're going to start working on that too. I know, she's only been away from her mom for like two days. So she's still trying to figure all this stuff out. You're waiting for me to say it, aren't you? Want to go outside? Let's go outside! Come on Kira! We're going outside! You're going to learn this trick real quick. She's like, I already know that when these girls get up, we get to go outside and I like going outside. Let's go outside! Come on everybody! Ready? Go to bed! Go on! Go to bed! Go to bed! Good job! You get one! Hello Kira! You get one too! I got it right here honey! She thinks I dropped it. I got it! That's how we go to bed! That's how you know it's night time! Alright guys! She followed them, so that's a good sign. Eventually she'll figure out this routine as well.
