Huskies Hear Elks Bugling

Good, wonderful, beautiful morning Pawdience! What? Are you gonna dance for us? What? What? Memphis? Wanna go for a ride? Yeah? Wanna go for a ride? Go to Atlanta? Go to the Elk Festival? Yeah? Just a little excited? Just a little? Kira's like, I just wanna play! Memphis is like, I know what's going on! Alright! Apparently... We're taking the dogs to the Atlanta Elk Festival today. How's that sound? Sound like fun? Yeah? Alright! Let's do it! Let's do it! Let's go! Memphis is like, OK! OK! The door is over here. I got my collar on. I need my harness on. We're going for a ride! We're going for a ride in daddy's Jeep. We're going for a ride! Go for a ride? Yeah? OK! Let's go! Just a little excited? Just a little bit? Yeah? Anything else? Oh my! Yeah? OK! Let's go! Oh my goodness Kira! We made it to the Elk Festival. This is the road part. We'll go down by the water a little bit. Kira! My gosh! You're on a mission or what? I'm on a mission guys! I'm on a mission! Let's see if he'll do it again! See if he'll do it again! Wait! We gotta see if he'll do it again! Uncle Jamie gave it to him twice and he threw it out twice. Hey look! That's where Jamie and I got married. Right there in that gazebo. Remember that? Standing right there? It looks like it needs a little help still. I think we say that every year though. Yeah! It's getting a little old. 17 years ago. It was almost new 17 years ago. Right up here in front of the river. This wasn't so overgrown then either. What did you find? Did you find something good? You're finding all kinds of good stuff, huh? So, when we're in Atlanta we gotta do our favorite thing and stop by Thunder Bay Deli. Oh my gosh! I need to take a picture of that for my Google reviews before you even eat it. It'll be amazing! Yeah! Hold on a second! Oh! I got a sub club! That's pretty phenomenal! But anyway, if you're ever in Atlanta, Michigan, literally the best place to eat ever and the nicest people and just if you're around this is the place to go. I'm gonna eat this now. Jamie's already scarfing his down. Is that everything you ever wanted? Yep! So we decided to take the back roads home. Look! We do have a little bit of color. Not quite as much as in the UP but there's definitely some color over here. These roads would be really pretty to come down in full color too. I know we've done it before but... Yeah! This end of there is a lot of pine. Yeah! We're on Brush Creek Truck Trail. Taking all the back dirt roads from Atlanta back to... Where did we come out? Hillman? Yeah! It's pretty though! Can I tell you what? These dogs are just like... We're just cruising guys! We're cruising! We're having a good time! We love it! The best car riding dog ever Kira! Just gets in the car and lays down. Yeah! Memphis you're pretty good too! Kira's like really good considering she's still a baby! Memphis! Do you see those elk? You see them? Yeah! She's like... Whoa! Whoa! I don't know if my car... I got that one! I didn't roll mine all the way down. She did! There's elk out there and they're bugling. They're way out here. See them way out there? You see them? I don't think Kira has figured out what's going on, but Memphis saw them elk. They were bugling. They're way over there. What is that Memphis? She's like... Guys! I would like to go play with them please. Please can we go play with them? You see them back there huh? Oh yeah! She 100% sees them. Their nose is just going. You see them big cows? She's like... I'm going for it! I'm going for it! Hi Kira! How's it going? She's like... I don't know what we're looking at guys! Wow! I wish I had a good microphone. I do too! That was cool! I think that's the one on the left side there. This big one over here I think. The one on the left with all the... Yeah! The ones without antlers. Yeah! I think he's the one that's yelling. Makes me want to go to Gaylord and see if they're elk are yelling. He's a bugling! That's cool! Memphis is like... Did you hear that one Kira? Now you see what she's looking at? Now they moved. These ones up here moved. I think Kira's finally figured it out. Uh-oh Memphis! What you see now? She's like... Guys! There's big dogs in that field! Look at those big dogs! There's baby dogs over there too! That one's trying to eat apples off the tree! We found cows! Memphis' other favorite thing to see... Oh! Do you see them too? You see them big dogs? Kira's like... Whoa! What are those? Those are big dogs! They're really cows but... Now we got two of you sticking your heads out! Huh? Checking out the cows! Are you watching them cows? Are you watching them? Those cows are having a good time out there. The birds are coming after them. Oh! That one's running! They're banging on that tree to get the apples off the tree. That's funny! They like apples! Just like you Kira! She's like... I'm watching them! I'm still watching these cows! Still watching them! Memphis is staring at them through the back window! There's a couple of little babies out there! They're looking at us now! They're like... Whoa! Hey! People are looking at us! How cute! Yes friends! Jamie is picking apples! Holy cow! They're huge! That one's a nice one! Yeah! That's all I want! The deer can have the rest! That's a nice looking apple tree! There's apples all over the ground too! Kira! What's wrong? Is there apples right there? There's apples! You can see them! She's gonna have a fit! I'm gonna have a fit! Oh yeah! She's freaking out! There's an apple! No! Don't take the whole thing! No! She took the whole apple! Are you a little Oakley? She's like... No! I'm a little Kira! I really like apples! What? Do you want an apple? She's like... No! I'm looking for cows! Yep! Kira's gonna eat that apple! I'm gonna share that one with Kira! Oh my gosh! She's actually gonna eat the whole thing! You silly puppy! Oh! They're not as good as the ones in the yard, huh? You're like... I don't know how I feel about this! Memphis only wants the apples if Jamie bites them first! And then she bites! Have a bite! Good? She's like... It's okay! I don't know how I feel about it! Okay! I'll take a little bite! Thanks! What you think girls? Was that a fun little day trip? You got to see Elk! You got to see cows! You got to go to the Elk Festival! Was it fun? You just ate! Don't look at me like you're starving! You literally just ate! Kira just came in from outside though, so they think they're getting a cookie! But you just ate! Fine! Fine! Your cuteness wins the game! Hold on! Let's see if I can do this... One handed! Hi Kira! Alright! In here! Everybody in here! In here! Let's see if we can show them! Okay! Ready? Oh! You sat before I set it! Good job! Good set! Alright! Let's see! What can I make you do? Can you give me your paw? Paw? Oh! Good job! How about you Memphis? Good job! Can you... Turn around? Turn around! Oh! Good job! How about you Memphis? Turn around? All the way around! Turn around! I know she's blocking you! There you go! Yeah! Kira's learning some tricks!
