Is it Fan Friday girls? Is it Fan Friday? There's Memphis State. It's Fan Friday!
First question, which nobody actually asked. How come the dogs don't have their collars on?
I'll show you the not bad side. I have poison ivy. I have stuff on it, so it looks kind of shiny.
And I'm pretty sure that I got it from the leashes and the collars off the dogs actually.
So their collars and their leashes are all sitting in a sink full of dish soap and water.
I have to wash them because we're going camping again. So I had to wash all their collars and
all that fun stuff. I'm pretty sure I got it off their leashes. Yeah. So we're going camping again
and I have poison ivy and it sucks. But by the time you guys see this, we'll actually be on our way
camping. So because of the fact that we're actually preparing to go camping again this weekend,
this is going to be a little bit of a short Fan Friday. Sorry about that you guys, but you know
we'll do a longer one next Friday to make up for it. Let's get to some questions, some real questions.
Donna wants to know, at what age should puppies be neutered and fixed? My puppy will be seven
months old on September 1st and he's getting kind of wild. Memphis is actually getting fixed
on September the 4th, which is her five month birthday. She'll be five months old that day.
It's really something you want to talk to your vet about. That's what we did with our vet. Our
vet told us pretty much after Memphis turned four months old, they said anytime you want to get her
fixed is good. So it's something you should talk to your vet about, but I would say your dog being
seven months old is probably ready to be fixed. I don't think your vet would have any problem
fixing your dog at that age. Hey Memphis, can we see your brown eyes? Denise wants to know if it's
weird looking at Memphis's brown eyes after having blue eyed girls for so long. Most of you know
Shiloh had blue eyes, Shelby and Oakley both have blue eyes and Memphis has them pretty brown eyes.
You know, I thought I would notice it a lot more than I do, but I really only notice it when I'm
doing like photos. I always try to actually get the color of her eyes to show up in photos, which
has been a difficult thing. But I don't, I mean other than that, I don't really notice it as much
as I thought I would. Emily says, my Husky keeps eating acorns now that it's autumn. Will this harm
her? Every time I try to correct her or try to fix it, she runs away from me and we have a huge
closed backyard. Well, if you guys watched last Fan Friday, look acorns and guess who eats them?
Memphis! I looked it up and it didn't say that they're actually dangerous for them. They probably
shouldn't eat a lot of them. I've actually been going around and trying to pick them up so she
doesn't get too many in her system. But from what I have read, it looks like a few of them is safe
for them. I'm gonna call my vet when we get back from camping and talk to him about it and actually
I'll see him because she's getting fixed when we get back and I'll ask him about it, see what he
says about her and her acorn eating habit. She's also eating, we have an apple tree and she's also
eating the apples that fall on the ground, so I have to pick up apples all the time too. Kira says,
true or false? Huskies are often untrustworthy, prone to running off off the lead. Uh, you must
be new to this channel. Very true. The majority of Huskies when given the chance off lead or outside
of a fenced-in yard will run like the wind. Bullseye? We should have named you Bullseye!
That would have been funny. Run like... No? No? I usually say that to Shelby. Run like the wind Shelby!
Um, anyway, yeah, uh, they, they, the majority of them will take off if given the chance. That is why
every book you read, every web page you read, everybody you talk to will tell you
it's best to keep them on a leash. Ann wants to know if we clip our girls nails or if we get them
done professionally. If you clip their nails, what is the best nail clipper to use? I use a nail
clipper with a guard on it. There's a guillotine nail clipper that actually like, I don't know,
it kind of looks like that and it cuts up like that. I don't use one of those. I use one that's
a nail clipper like this. If I was in the house, I could show it to you. But it's got, it's actually
got a guard on it so you can only put the nail in it so far. I cut Shelby's nails and Memphis' nails
and I used to cut Shiloh's nails. Oakley doesn't like to have her feet touched. I've been working
with her on being able to cut her nails but a lot of times I just take her to the vet and have it
done because they do it for like ten dollars and I like my vet. We like going to visit them. Oakley
does really well there so. That's a really big hole you dug there Oakley. Ronnie says, how do you
cut a Siberian Husky's hair? I don't. I've never cut their hair. I've never. You shouldn't cut their
hair. Uh-oh. Must be something on that side of the fence. Hopefully it's not that skunk we saw the
other day. Get her! Anyway, no I don't cut their hair at all. Ever. None of them. Not even you with
your long fluffy hair. Fluffy butt. What's going on over there? Go over there and check it out. Check
it out. Elizabeth wants to know if our Huskies ever get rough spots underneath their collars.
Well as you can tell because I had to take their collars off, no they don't. She also said that
whoa it sometimes feels dirty underneath their collars. It may actually be the type of
collar your dogs are wearing. Our dogs wear lupine collars that we actually sell their product in our
store. GoneToTheSnowDogs.com and I sell their products because I'm a big supporter of their
products. I like their their collars and leashes and leaves and they're guaranteed even if chewed.
Um I've never really had that issue. Oh my gosh. I'm gonna run over. Husky pile! In the mail today
we got a happy late sixth birthday to Shelby from Jason and Andrea. Look at those pictures of Shelby.
That was when she was a baby and then that's what she looks like now. Look how different her face
was. You look so different. Where'd you go? She's under the table. What'd you get? Here Shelby.
Shelby. Here you go. Ha ha ha. Wet Memphis head. Shelby got a lobster. And then they also sent
some chews. One for each of the girls and guess what? We are totally gonna take those camping
with us. So your girls can't have them until at least tomorrow. Thanks for sending that you guys.
Madison sent us a letter with a picture of her husky puppy Titan and she says Titan's having
problems going to the bathroom outside. He's two months old. Two month old husky puppies are not
fully potty trained at all. They usually pee wherever they want and they usually pee on
whatever they want because they're not potty trained. You have to potty train them and they
will not be fully potty trained till they are four to six months old. At four months old they should
pretty much get it. By six months old they should be pretty much 99 percent. Do you like that toy
Shelby? I think you do. And we got a drawing from Kayla and Kayla wants to know if huskies can live
in Texas. Yeah they can live in Texas. They just have to be inside dogs like all huskies should be
anyway so that they can enjoy the air conditioning. Memphis has been stealing sacks and taking them
all over the house. Um but yeah there's lots of huskies that live in Texas. There's even a Texas
husky rescue. We got we got a letter from Brandon. Brandon says they can't have a husky because
people in their house are allergic to huskies and they want to know if brushing the dogs outside
will help. No I'm sorry but it really won't. If you have allergies huskies are not a very good dog
for people with allergies. We also got a letter from Johnny and Johnny says our antlers good for
other dogs like Shih Tzus. Yes they even make little mini antlers that we sell on our store
that are perfect for dogs of that size. Memphis has been trying to catch this fly. Maybe I should
catch it for her. We got a box from Jay Foxfire. Jamie and dog Kayla. That's pretty cool and they
sent some awesome fresh minty flavored treats. Look it's got a husky on it and made in the USA.
That's always awesome and this awesome awesome drawing of Shiloh. Love it. Love it. Love it.
You should make me some images for t-shirts. I would totally put that on a t-shirt. We need to
talk about that. And this really cool toy. Who's gonna get it? I bet Shelby will take it.
Here you get one in. Here Memphis grab it. Memphis grab it. Grab it Memphis. Okay we'll let Shelby
take it and then oh no Memphis got it. I know you don't really have much interest in it. Oh you have
dirt in your eye. We have to get that out. Thanks for sending that stuff stuff. That's all we have
for Fan Friday today you guys. Thanks for watching. Thanks for subscribing. Sorry the video is a little
bit short. Actually I don't really think it was that short but we are on the road as of the time
you're watching this. So more camping videos to come. If you haven't had a chance yet you can go
on over to youtube.com slash without the snow dogs. We posted quite a few more camping videos
and we'll be doing the same thing this time around. Little clips of the dogs from camping will go on
this channel. The big long main camping videos will go on the vlog channel since it's more of
a vlog type thing. Memphis is up there in the pool. Are you in the pool? She's like yeah I like the pool.
Good. Wash off some of that sand that you just got on yourself. Yeah the pool. Thanks for watching
you guys. Thanks for subscribing and we will see you on Wednesday. Goodbye!
