So, for years, quite literally for years, you guys have been asking us to video the dogs
to see what they do while we're at work. Well, this little camera right here, this little drop cam
is going to show us what they do. Let's check it out. So, we're going to show you guys a couple
clips of this, a little time lapse and then a few audio clips and kind of show you what this camera
does. There will be a link on the video here and down in the video description to go watch an actual
full day time lapse of what the dogs do while we're not home. We figured we'd post it as a
separate video. So, it'll be down here in the corner and at any time you can click on that
link to go see that other video or if you're on mobile it'll be down in the video description.
So, the camera that we're using to do this is called a drop cam. You can check that out
at dropcam.com. It's really pretty cool. The way the camera is set up, you can access an app on
your phone to watch the camera so you can see what your pets are doing all day long while you're
not home or you can set it up for other things too. Of course, we're using it for our pets but
what's really cool about it and I'm going to show you this in just a minute, is you can actually
not only can you hear through the camera on your phone or on your computer, you can actually talk
to your pets while you're not home. Which is really cool if you have dogs with like separation
anxiety or puppies that are just learning to be out of a kennel. You can kind of keep an eye on
them and if they're doing something bad you can talk to them and they'll think you're still in the
house. The camera itself is really cool. It was really easy to set up. We just plugged it into
our computer and then we hooked it up to the wi-fi, plugged it into the wall and that was it.
But the coolest part of this entire video, which I'm sure you guys are going to love,
you may have already noticed down in the video description there's a link that says giveaway.

I'm telling you guys, I've had way too much fun with this. Being able to check up on the dogs
when we're at work, just kind of see what's going on. It sends me texts if there's motion. You can
set it up to text you or email you if there's motion or if there's sound. So if something happens,
for example, the other morning Jamie and I left for work and we couldn't remember if we shut off
the alarm clock, which needs to be shut off because if you don't, here's what'll happen.
Oh yeah! And the camera even has night vision. How cool is that?
On my phone, I could hear that the alarm was going on and of course you guys saw what else
happens when our alarm clock goes off. Thankfully we were only about two minutes from home,
turned around, came home, shut the alarm off. See? We never would have known. Those poor dogs would
have suffered all day long. No, we actually probably would have turned around anyway and
the alarm wouldn't have been on. Definitely cool. I really want to get another one. Right now,
as you can see, I just have it set up over there. You can also attach it to your wall. I just have
it sitting over there because it was a good angle to get everybody since Memphis is still in her
kennel as you guys saw in the video. She's still too young to be left out all day. Hopefully you
