It's totally Jamie. I would never admit to anything like that Francisco said says I have a husky but it has fleas. What do you think is the best treatment for it? All of our girls are on Vectra 3d That's probably something you may want to talk to your vet about if the fleas are really bad There are some natural things out there You can just google natural flea treatments and you might be able to find something but you also may want to talk to your vet Haley says my dog recently passed away. How long should I wait before I get another one? This is one of those questions That's really hard to answer. It's a very personal question and it's something that is completely up to you Some people are ready to get another dog right away Some people it takes a really long time and I think you'll know when you're ready You know, some people say oh don't do it right away. That's too soon But for some people there is no such thing as too soon. They want to fill that that emptiness right away So, I don't know it's really up to you you'll know when you're ready Quite a few of you asked if we're gonna do the DNA test on Oakley after I asked about it last week Yeah, I think we're going to I don't know when all right girls. Yes I actually I hear that a lot more than you would think I get that comment a lot on our YouTube channel and actually hear It in real life a lot more than you would think a lot of people think I'm crazy for owning three Huskies I guess I could think people are crazy for having three kids kind of the same thing, right? Yes, and I actually I have the costumes that they're gonna wear at least in video Sometimes they don't wear them Halloween night, but we always do a video with them At least I have their costumes for this year and they're awesome soon enough. You'll see them you guys soon enough PAS 294 says can you let your dogs chew on antlers in their crate? Well unsupervised what toys are safe for them to play with in their crate? I don't let my dogs chew on anything unsupervised Sorry, my hand is shaking. It's a little bit colder outside than I thought No, don't let your dogs chew on antlers or anything unsupervised if they break pieces off or if they break pieces off their toys You just you want to be there just in case because see like Memphis is eating an acorn I don't advise letting your animals have anything unsupervised because you just don't know I mean if they break a big big piece off they could choke and then where would we be? So I you know I try always try to have my dogs be supervised whenever they're chewing on things Rawhides antlers toys pretty much anything and I don't leave toys or anything like that in their crates with them I have used Kong's in a crate before Because none of my girls have ever destroyed a Kong but I have heard that some dogs do so it might be something you might Want to see how powerful your dog is with a Kong before you leave one in a crate. That's about the only toy I've ever left in a crate with one of our dogs. Oh the off-leash question again Bichon Frise dog says why don't you let your dogs off leash? I always let my dogs off leash I don't let my dogs off leash because I love them far too much to take that chance with their life I don't care how trained you think your dog is There are still a chance that they could see something take off get hit by a car get lost in the woods Maybe I'm overprotective, but I mean we had a police dog here that a police dog I fully trained police dog that was off leash and took off after a deer and he has never been seen again They're pretty sure he got stuck in the woods and probably tangled it with his chain and died They I mean honestly, I don't want that to happen to my dogs So I'm not gonna take that chance. They can be off leash in their backyard where they're safe We have a great big backyard for them to play in, you know fenced in dog parks That's cool. But when we are out in nature or walking, there's absolutely no reason for them to be off leash There could be other off leash dogs. What if your dog is off leash and gets charged by another off leash dog? Who's not friendly? What if your dog is off leash and somebody just decides to pick your dog up and take it away? There are so many things that could happen when you have a dog off leash to me personally There's just no reason for it none whatsoever They can be off leash in the yard, but when we are out in public in other places our dogs need to be safe with us Anyway, so yeah, no, they don't need to be off leash And it's windy. It's only about 40 degrees out right now. So it's pretty cold We got some mail. We got some mail. It must be something good in there cuz Shelby is checking it out good stuff in there Can you smell it? Let's find out We got a letter and a package from Griffin and it sounds like there's something really cool in this box along with three crocodiles Crocodile gator treats for the girls. Hold on. Let me get them out. All right, these are from Griffin You guys ever seen these the girls have had these before you can only have one then you have to get one Okay, now don't eat it all now. We're gonna see what's in this box Look at how cool it says you guys Griffin made a sculpture of my Shiloh, I'm totally gonna put this in the cabinet with the rest of the Shiloh stuff. That is awesome I love how you even got her red color. You did a great job Thank you so much. And the girls are liking their treats. They're over there mowing away And we got an awesome card from Brianne in Canada and Brianne wants to know if there's any awesome stories that go behind the naming Of our dogs. Well, not Oakley because she came with that name, but the other two Yes I'll actually try to find the video that we did where we talked about how we named the girls and put it down in the Video description for you And we got a letter from Kara and Kara says her two dogs get along very well with each other But they don't seem to get along very well with other dogs and they want to know if we have any tips Sometimes it can be hard to have two dogs that are really used to each other Actually get along with other dogs. You may want to contact a trainer for a little bit of help with this Sometimes it just takes time to get them used to other dogs and sometimes they just never do Oakley is very temperamental with other dogs Sometimes sometimes she likes them. Sometimes she doesn't Shelby's the same way Memphis just seems to love just about everybody And we got a letter from Allie Dixie and baby Roxy and they want to know what is your favorite small breed of dog? I like Papillons. Oh and have you ever been to California? I have but the dogs have not And we got a letter from Ashley and Lauren and this is a picture of their dog and they want to know our firm We've read that you shouldn't use Furminators on Huskies, but you use it. Anyways, is it the correct brush? You've seen our dogs. Our groomer used the Furminator on Oakley today. Yes, Furminators are safe to use as long as they are used Properly, so make sure you read the instructions So, you know how to use them and we got this awesome drawing from Izzy and Izzy wants to know how long Huskies stay awake I don't know, but they sleep probably for about 12 to 16 hours a day. So 12 hours or so It's Halloween Heck yeah favorite holiday ever Excuse me. We got an awesome card from Brianna and Jared They said that they have a dream of owning a Husky, but they live in an apartment right now And it would probably be disastrous You're probably right your neighbors would probably be deaf from all the talking that they do and they sent a box of stuff Well, oh we're gonna have to open it see what's in it even in an awesome Halloween box check that out Halloween treats for the dog.
