BIRTHDAY CUPCAKES for the DOG How to Dog Birthday Pupcakes Recipe DIY | Snacks with the Snow Dogs 33

It's somebody's birthday! So, you guys requested that we make Oakley some birthday treats. So, we are going to make peanut butter cupcakes for birthday girl Oakley. Let's get to it! Alright! We got everything ready. You're gonna need two bowls. You're gonna need a cupcake pan. You're gonna need all the stuff that we'll explain shortly. And the first thing you want to do is pre-heat your oven to 350F. Let's make some treats! Alright! We're gonna need two different sized bowls. A large bowl and a small bowl. First, we're gonna use the large bowl. You're gonna need one egg. You're gonna need a quarter of a cup of peanut butter plus two tablespoons of peanut butter. I'm using an all-natural peanut butter from Jermac peanut butter brand which is actually made in Michigan. Wanna lick that? Got a little peanut butter on there. Hey birthday girl! Oakley! You like some? Wanna see Shelby's nose? Get over here Shelby! Shelby, come here! Want some? Wanna try some too? Lick some peanut butter? It's delicious! Delicious peanut butter! There'll be some in your cookies too. It's good stuff, huh? You're going to need one quarter of a cup of vegetable oil. One third of a cup of honey. Honey is always so much fun to work with because it's so sticky. Oh! You like honey, don't you? I know you girls love honey! Can you get it? Don't do that! Oh Memphis! That's too funny! Wanna try again? No! No! No! No! No! They have to go in the cupcakes! They really do! You can't have that much! It's like a water fountain of honey! Oh my gosh! No! You can't do that! Alright! She got some! You want some? Shelby's like, I'm not a big fan of straight honey. I like straight peanut butter, but honey? No! Oh! Did you get it on your whiskers? Somebody got it on their whiskers! And then, one cup of shredded carrots. These are gonna be healthy cupcakes, right? And then, we're gonna stir this stuff together. And we're gonna take a little bowl and we're gonna combine one cup of whole wheat flour, a third of a cup of quick oats or old-fashioned oats. I used old-fashioned oats this time. You wanna try one of those? Is it delicious? And one teaspoon of baking powder. I don't think you want to eat the baking powder. I don't think that would taste good. I mean, you probably want to eat it, but... And we're gonna mix all this together. We'll mix all this together. We're gonna combine it all into one! Ta-da! Are they done? No? Okay! We'll mix it together now. And mix it all together. Wanna help Memphis? Memphis, you're a good helper! You're a really good helper, huh? She's like, oh I'm the best helper! Trust me! Trust me! Just give me a bite! You're the taste testing helper, right? Once it's all mixed together, we're gonna spoon it into a muffin tin. I have paw print muffins for this one. I'm gonna try this out. You can use a regular muffin tin, but use the little papers so that they don't stick. I'm hoping they won't stick to this. So we're gonna try it and find out. You want to fill them about halfway, two-thirds of the way. All right, we got them filled. Now we are going to pop them in the oven for between 15 and 25 minutes. Basically what you're gonna want to do is, when you stick a toothpick in the middle and you pull it out, you don't want it to be full of crumbs. You want it to be fairly clear. So that's what we're gonna do. Try some? What do you think? Is it good? Is it good? Oakley's like, I still have some mom. I can't have the spoon! I can't have the spoon either. All right, let's go put them in the oven. So ours took about 20 minutes total. This is what they look like. Again, I used little uh... Get down! Get down! Look at those dirty paws! Who's digging? I used little paw shaped cupcake holders. Now we're gonna take peanut butter. This is Jermac natural peanut butter. It's actually made in Michigan. You gotta wait! And what I did is, I mixed a little bit of applesauce in with the peanut butter. So it's kind of like a frosting consistency. Stirred it up and now we're gonna frost our cupcakes. There's our birthday cupcakes. All right, now they're all frosted. Wanna try some frosting? Oh, it's delicious! I know you're waiting so patiently. So good! Got Memphis? All right, now you want to try a cupcake? You got peanut butter on your nose there sweetheart. Let's try a cupcake! All right, I think they're all excited to try them. Oakley gets hers first, right Oakley? Yeah, you get yours first? There you go Oakley! There's one for Memphis! They're gonna scarf theirs down before I... Oh, we're blurry! Before I get back over here Shelby! Sorry, I only have so many hands! There's yours Shelby! I think it's a win. Oakley destroyed hers. Memphis is just about done with hers.
