Well hi guys!
So, if you follow us on any of our social media accounts
Twitter, Instagram, Facebook
You probably already know this, but I figured I better put up a video here.
If you follow us at YouTube.com slash Snow Dogs Vlogs
You probably already know this as well.
But, since this channel is bigger than our vlog channel
I wanted to make a short video here.
If you want to see the entire story about what I'm going to talk about
I'll put a link up in the cards to our vlog channel
where we talk about it in depth, what happened.
As you can see, Oakley has her leg shaved and she has a bandage on.
Yesterday, for the third time, Oakley bloated.
But this time when she bloated
her stomach actually twisted.
So, last night we took her to the emergency vet
and she had to have emergency surgery.
If you are squeamish at all, look away now.
I won't get real close.
There is Oakley's incision.
Okay, you are safe to look back.
She has 24 staples in her belly.
They actually tacked her stomach.
She had what was called a gastro-opexy surgery.
They tacked her stomach inside.
Hopefully, we won't ever have to deal with bloat again.
Yeah, I wanted to make this video to let you guys know what was going on.
I'm still getting a lot of messages from everybody.
I thought this was a good way to update everybody.
I also wanted to let you know that the video we have going up tomorrow
is a video that we had recorded before this happened.
So, when you see the video tomorrow and you are kind of confused
about why Oakley looks okay,
is because in tomorrow's video was actually recorded like a week ago.
It's a really cute video. It's a sponsored spot we did with Swiffer.
But anyway, that will be up tomorrow.
I've had a lot of people ask if there's any way they can help
to pay for Oakley's emergency surgery.
I think we might just have t-shirts made.
If you guys want to buy t-shirts with Oakley on them, that would be something we can do.
I haven't decided yet.
I don't really know what else to say.
She's doing pretty good today. She's really tired.
She's not in too much pain, which is good, but she's really tired.
Notice, she still hasn't really moved as I've been sitting here.
Normally, she's like, please don't get close to me.
So again, like I said, if you want to see the full story about what happened,
I'll put a link up in the cards.
Head on over to our vlog channel. You can subscribe while you're there.
Don't lick your incision! Don't do it!
Memphis, tell her, don't lick her incision! Don't do it!
We'll have to put the evil cone on you.
We'll have to put the cone on you, but no, we won't.
If you want to follow updates of Oakley, down in the video description below,
we have all of our social sites listed.
You can find us on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, all those places.
I'm doing more updates on there, than I am on video of course, because they're just easier.
You can always follow us on all of those.
That's all! We just wanted to update you guys, so everybody would know what's going on with Oakley.
She's okay! She survived!
Last night was probably the closest we've ever come to actually losing her.
She had to have emergency surgery at nine o'clock at night.
But, she survived!
Thank you very much to Dr. Ryan at Schweitzer's Veterinary Office and his staff,
for saving Miss Fluffy Butt Oakley.
Alright you guys! As always...
Thanks for watching! Thanks for subscribing!
Stay positive and dream big! We will see you again soon!
Goodbye!
One more thing, for those of you that kept saying Oakley's fat,
look at all the fluff gone off her belly, because they shaved her belly.
Told ya! She's not fat!
She was just super, super fluffy!
Do the Snow Dogs!
