We are a FUN and ADVENTUROUS family of 6 who lost our son to SIDS in 2014. Our biggest regret was not having family videos of him when he was here and is why we started doing daily vlogs!
Thomas is a 2X North American Champion in his kick-boxing career and Ashley is a network-marketing professional, mentor and speaker in her company.
Together we have 5 year old Identical twins- Simon & Cohen. Our son Miloh was born 12/12/13 and passed away from SIDS on 5/20/14. We were blessed with our Rainbow baby Ezrah this year on 03/02/17 and we have loved sharing our every day journey with our followers and are looking forward to where this journey takes us!
I don't know what they're gonna say, but I guess we're gonna go find out.
You okay? You're just glad we came. You're regardless of the circle. I agree.
It's better safe than sorry in a situation like this, especially because like what you
read about whooping cough, it scares the bananas out of you. I know. I was just reading online
He literally had every symptom of whooping cough, but like early stages of it, like his cough is
just starting to get really bad. And so I'm like, I don't want to take him in when he can't breathe
anymore. You know what I mean? We don't want to wait till it's too bad. Yeah. I just got a
thermostat shoved up my butt. Dude, dude, I was traumatized. I couldn't even go over there.
She's like, you're not going to like me. I'm like, why won't he like you? And then she pulls
Do you know what he did the whole time he was gone?
It's because he's like, that's not natural.
Oh, poor guy. Hi. But how much did he say he weighed? I don't know. I didn't see.
Thousands of kilograms. I don't speak that language. What do you speak?
You look really good right now. Plus you look like you have no symptoms when we show up to the
hospital. And then when we're at home, your eyes are puffy, you're coughing, you're sneezing,
you're fussy. He lays down on that and he doesn't even make a peep.
You're going to get your first sucker, bro. Yeah. I think he'll suck on it.
You're going to like that. The best that the mom does it. Yeah. You can give him a shot. Oh my
gosh. What do I do? You just get it down. Put his mouth in just a little bit. Go ahead.
I don't know if I know how to do it. Wait, are you sure? Yeah. You already did it.
Chase it. Chase it. Chase it. That is so funny. Welcome to America, dude. We're full of sugar and
sweets. Is that good? Oh,
they can mix it upside down. It's like the juice out of this.
Listen, I paid a lot of money for that doctor's visit and I want one of these.
How are you doing, sweetie? He just down that sucker. Why is it better? Look at your little
chunky face. Babe, did you see the basement bathroom? What happened? No. Come downstairs
and look at it. What happened? Don't tell me. Okay. A few weeks ago after their guests left,
water was like flooding in the bathroom. And apparently this was our favorite bathroom,
you guys. So to see this makes us so sad. Oh my gosh. What? What happened? So there's been like
a bunch of water over here, she said. And I was like, what is that from? And she like started
feeling it and the sheet rock was really weak. Well, John cut it open and it was just full of
water. All the insulation was soaked. And apparently like where her pipe bursted up there,
she had like a pipe burst up in here. They had someone fix it a year ago and they don't think
that the weld was right. And now it's all been leaking down there. So like it was literally full
of water when they busted it open. So it was probably really soft. So they just like poked
it. Oh no, that's a bummer. Bananas. I thought it was something to do with like the tile work
and that would have been really sucky. I know. Actually, what a blessing it wasn't the tile.
This is the guy that's done all of our... Wow.
This is the guy that's done all of our bathrooms. He's amazing. We did the last one with the rock.
Oh wow, that is him. Same rock we used. Yeah. So we're going to... Isn't it ironic?
Yeah, I really do think. It's like rain on your wedding day or your husband rain.
I was going to say, I would rather have rain on my wedding day than no husband showing up.
Are you blowing him with the blower? Get him Cohen. What do we got cooking? Oh man.
John's cooking up the Vegas. Your face looks good. Yeah, it looks sexy. Are you guys ready?
Run. It looks like I have to buy a new toy. You guys see what happened? I was cutting my hair
and I messed up and ended up shaving it. Ashley's pissed. Now you look good. See, tell her that.
A vlog. My father-in-law has a killer band that is actually really, really good,
which isn't surprising. Everybody but your father-in-law. Here it comes. Anyway, we want to
do a vlog. So we're going to do a vlog for them and we'll post it on our channel too. So you guys
can watch them jam out. They slay it. They play heavy metal. Hey, what the... I want to get my
foot zone. That's a cruel joke. I'm going to bring my feet over so you can take the toenails
though. Okay. All right. That's a really cool toenail. The nice thing is I can drop them off
and not have to be sick. There you go. I'll just take them for you. All right. See you guys. Love
you. Love you. Bye. So first of all, I want to show you guys how porcelain Ezra's legs look right
now. I don't know why, but they look so fake. What? Like not a flaw? Not an ounce of cellulite?
Just porcelain smoothness? He's barely became a human. Give him a break. Look at that. Now look
at him. Oh, he's just out. Look at that mouth. You're sleeping so good, huh? Look at that little
face. There goes his toes. He's getting so chunky. I just remember just barely those little legs
were just toothpicks. Okay. So we were laughing our heads off. We're reading all the paperwork
that the doctor left us with, with croup. That's what he has. And for home care, so funny. It was
a knee slapper, huh? I was laughing so hard. What's a knee slapper? Like when something's
that funny, you slap your knee. Tell me you haven't done that. Listen to what this, this
literally tells me to do this. Okay. So I'm going to do it to Ezra since he has croup.
Offer words of comfort. This is under home care. Okay. You ready? I don't know why it's not that
funny now. It was funny at the time. Okay. Here, hold on a second. Let me just stay calm. And then
this is the good one. It says, stay calm. I don't know if stay calm, but it just says stay calm.
Say this to your child. Offer words of comfort for your child. Okay. These are the words you
need to say. It will be okay. I'm right here with you. Okay. Let's see if this works. They
said this will help. So when your child is crying and you need to like a home remedy,
it will be okay. I am right here with you. Please tell me if that offered you any.
Let's see. Let's see. Let's see. Ezra. Let's go give it to him. What is it? It will be okay. I have
to do it right. It will be okay. I am right here with you. He's heard it so many times.
Ezra, it will be okay. And I am right here with you. No, and you did it wrong. I'm ruining this.
It will be okay. I am right here with you. Can I say his name first or does that throw
the whole thing off? I feel like it throws it off. Just say. Okay. Ezra, it will be okay. No,
you said Ezra. Oh, I can't say it. I'm going to point to you. Okay. Kid, it will be okay. No,
not even kid. Just say, just look at him. I started it over. No, start over here. One, two, three.
It will be okay. I am right here with you. Wow. Take 37. Woo. Look, he's fine now.
I am right here with you. Okay. But on a serious note, um, we're going to share. Well, no,
I was just going to say like, it's so what I was afraid of with Ezra was just being super paranoid
and you know, any little thing I'd get worried about or, you know, any cold, any whatever. And
I don't want to be that parent that like, Oh my gosh, she has a runny nose. I got to take him
into the emergency room. You know, I know. Sorry. But, um, at the same time, it freaks me out. Like
what if I've heard way too many stories of if I would have, if I would have taken my child and
sooner it would have been okay. And when I was looking at symptoms this morning of whooping
cough, cause I'm like, his cough was like next level. And it was like constant. And
he didn't sleep at all last night. Thomas walked around with him for like two and a half hours,
like constant. What was that? Like three in the morning. Yeah. It was like three to five.
I walked out and it was just constant coughing. And I'm like, okay. I looked up the symptoms of
whooping cough because that was just like, what kept coming to my mind. And I know how dangerous
that is. And he doesn't have his vaccination for that. Um, just because he's not even two months
old yet, but I looked up all the symptoms and he literally had every symptom in order. Like I've
already said in this blog, but, um, so me, I'm like, we're going right now because what I read
and watched and heard about from whooping cough, if, if you can catch it while it's in the early
symptoms or the early stages, then it's not as, I mean, they can, it's just better obviously.
And you always want to catch a sickness early on. So we take him in, but this is what we always like,
hate is when like, we loved our nurses and we're like, this is not like a, we're bashing any, like
anyone. We're just saying, especially cause we, we look like we're younger parents,
especially if we're having four kids. Like you just want, everyone's always like, oh,
that's why they're so paranoid kind of, but that's not the case at all. And it's not even
the fact that we've lost a child only that makes us kind of paranoid. It's just, we just want to
be good parents. We don't want to risk it. So kind of when we went in there, we'll just give you like
a little experience, like how it went down. And the first lady takes us in, I don't know if she's
a Santa or a nurse. And she's asked you, they ask you questions and then they're like, um,
has he had a fever? And you're like, yes. What? I'm like, uh, yes. Yeah. Like she was very upset
that he had had a fever and we hadn't taken him in. Yeah. So I was like, well, hold on a second.
Yes. He had a fever, but no, it never got to the point where you're supposed to take him into the
emergency room. Like you're, it never got anywhere near 100.4. Yeah. So, or one, 100, one, 100.4
would be 100.4. That's it was 104, 104. I think 100.4 is like, no, it's 104. Okay.
He never even got up to a hundred degrees. He was like in the 99, but he still was a little warmer
than normal. So I knew he had a fever. Well, she makes us feel like terrible that we did not bring
him in when he got a fever. And so then I was like, Oh man. But then as she continues to ask
more questions, the table's like turned. She's like, Oh yeah. And then all of a sudden, yeah,
he's totally fine. And then all of a sudden she's making us feel kind of dumb that we brought our
like, she's like, Oh, it's okay. Parents come in all the time and think this, you know what? He
doesn't have this. He doesn't have it. If he had that, he would look like this. And I'm like,
call. So like, are you mad at me for bringing them in or mad at me for not bringing them?
It's just, it's hard because they make you feel bad for not bringing them in sooner. But then
they also like, if it's the other way around, they make you feel dumb for bringing them in.
So, and you know what? I wish it was a little easier experience. Yeah. This is what I would
just say. Always take them in. If you ever have worry, just take them in. So basically it's better
to be safe than sorry. Right. Take them in. We definitely know. I mean, yeah, you never want to
risk that, but thank you guys for watching. Take your baby to the doctor. And don't forget, listen,
if you haven't subscribed, you probably should. What the heck are you doing? Because I feel like
our videos get funnier as they go on. Oh no, he's going to die. Go subscribe. We'll see you in the
next video. Bye.
