USS Constitution Build – Steps 7–9 | Upper Deck, Stern Details & Pin Racks | Agora Models Partwork
Welcome back to the third part of my USS Constitution build – a legendary ship, brought to life through precision, patience, and a lot of mahogany!
In this episode, covering steps 7–9 of the Agora Models partwork, I continue shaping and assembling essential parts of the upper structure:
🧭 In this episode:
Custom-shaping the boarding steps from 2x2mm mahogany strips
Defining the space for the nameplate "CONSTITUTION" on the stern using masking tape
Fitting the belaying pin racks along the inner bulwarks and reinforcing them with steel pins
Carefully shaping and painting brass wire scrollwork for the bowsprit decoration
Assembling the upper deck, the transom, and installing the front & rear davits
Each detail is handmade with care, including mirrored brass elements and manually beveled steps. Every part of the ship tells a story – and this one continues to grow with each new pack.
