Windlass "1860" Union Officer Cavalry Saber Review

Another sword that's out of my training wheelhouse but sort-of from my pre-martial arts youth: An India-made cavalry saber to replace the first sword I ever bought for myself: An India-made cavalry saber. Based on a popular French design, this one is more properly called an M1862, as there wasn't an official "1860" model. Overall, I think Windlass did a pretty good job for very little money, enough to maybe inspire me to finally learn how to use one of these semi-properly now that HEMA is a thing.
