This is an officer’s saber of the Wehrmacht, Model M1890, and it was modified several times throughout its existence. The condition of the item is poor. This piece was purchased at a flea market in France. There is rust on the blade and on the scabbard. The scabbard is broken, I noticed it immediately from the so-called repair. Also, the wire wrap on the horn handle is missing. I will fix all of this now. Let’s begin.
