I got my first Antique Saber! | Part 1: 1821/1845 British Wilkinson Officer's Sword

We review my very first antique sword. This British officers sword is based on the 1821 pattern hilt with an 1854 pattern Wilkinson blade. Although based and manufactured as a 19th century sword, this particular one was forged in 1950 at the Wilkinson factory. This video is part 1 of 3, showcasing the first impressions of this sword while also telling the interesting history of the Wilkinson Sword company. My second video will show how this sword handles as a fighting weapon, comparisons to HEMA weapons, and maybe some test thrusting. Our 3rd video will be on how well this sword cuts when professionally sharpened.
