Authorities in Bucks County say a Philadelphia man accused of breaking into a home and attacking a woman early Tuesday morning was a complete stranger to the family, and why he chose their house remains a mystery.
"He was a stranger to this family, that we know with certainty," said Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn.
Police were called to a home on the 200 block of Miller Drive around 2:47 a.m. Tuesday for reports of a burglary in progress. Investigators say 33-year-old Nafis Fisher broke into the home, where a mother, father on hospice care, and their 25-year-old daughter were inside. #pennsylvania

Now to Bucks County where police say a
man involved in a violent home invasion
is behind bars tonight. It happened
early Tuesday morning in Upper
Southampton Township. Authorities say
the suspect not only stole items but
also attempted to sexually assault a
young woman inside the home. And
authorities also saying a pair of
AirPods led them right to the suspect.
Action News reporter Amanda Pittz live
for us now in Doylestown with the story.
Amanda.
Well, Sharie, police tracked those
AirPods from here in Bucks County all
the way to Philadelphia where they
arrested that suspect. But why he
targeted this family is still a mystery.
He was a stranger to this family. That
we know with certainty.
This quiet Upper Southampton Township
neighborhood is on edge tonight after
learning that their neighbors were the
victims of a violent home invasion.
People that you wouldn't expect to be
getting robbed. You know, good people.
It happened Tuesday just before 3:00
a.m. A mother, father on hospice care
and their daughter, all home at the time
when police say this man, Nafi Fischer,
broke into their home on Miller Drive.
Their 25-year-old daughter says she woke
up to find him pinning her down to her
bed.
A knife in her bed and an extension cord
on the floor next to her bed.
The victim screamed and police say Fiser
ran into the hallway where he came face
to face with her mother. Her mom
physically grappled with the intruder.
Fischer ran out of the house and took
off in a black car. He got away with the
daughter's AirPods, passport, and
wallet. But it's the tracking feature on
those AirPods that led police right to
him.
The find my feature indicated that the
AirPods were stationary on Aramingo
Avenue in Somerset Street in the city of
Philadelphia.
When police responded to that location,
they found Fischer asleep in that black
car with the AirPods inside. The Bucks
County District Attorney sent a message
to anyone else who may have been
involved.
If they unwittingly provided information
to him to allowed him to target this
victim and their family, it is incumbent
upon that individual to share that
information. Now, it certainly would be
much better for them to find us than us
to find them.
Now, the DA tonight also praising the
victim's courageousness, screaming and
fighting back. So, this didn't end in a
tragedy. Fischer tonight is being held
on a $250,000
bond. Live in Doylestown, Amanda Pittz,
Channel 6 Action News. Shie,
all right, detectives were on the job
there. that Amanda thanks.
