shock waves throughout the entire country following report said an investigation led by a man and district attorney Alvin Bragg was nearing a close and Lively to result in criminal charges for the former president and unprecedented move here a la mood to pursue charges by the Manhattan DEA has been decried by the president and his allies and described as a quote textbook example of political persecution now the house Republican annual Retreat speaker McCarthy weighed in on the DA's investigation saying this let's listen in it doesn't matter if this was President Trump or if this was a Democrat it should be equal justice in America and stop going after people because you have political differences not actually enough it isn't just the president's allies of the cried Trump's potential prosecution here it's his Rivals too with fellow points 24 presidential Contender Vivek ramaswamy predicting that a trump indictment would lead to a quote National disaster and if you at home were wondering about the alleged crime at the center of all this Jonathan Turley broke it down an opinion piece in the hell he said that quote while we still do not know the specific State charges in the anticipated indictment the most discussed would actually fall under Section 175 for falsifying business records based on the claim that Trump used legal expenses to conceal the alleged hush payments that were supposedly used to violate federal election laws now truly continued saying quote while some legal experts have insisted that such concealment is clearly a criminal matter that must be charged they were conspicuously silent when Hillary Clinton faced a not dissimilar campaign Finance allegation now house administration chair Brian's style announced on Tuesday that Alan Bragg had quote until Thursday to come forward to appear before three Congressional panels for a transcribed interview turning to congress with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle taking 7 of banned Tick Tock and large for Duty user privacy concerns the CEO of the app sought to sue their concerns and his testimony to Congress on Thursday now that CEO provided a preview of his testimony earlier this week in a video highlighting tick tock's vast user base of more than 150 million daily users in the way in which many small businesses have taken on the platform and what might happen if the app would be banned we have that clip let's roll it more than 150 million Americans on Tick Tock that's almost half of the US coming to tick tock some politicians have started talking about banning Tick Tock now this could take Tick Tock away from all 150 million of you that remains to be seen however if this testimony will be enough to alleviate lawmakers concerns about the close ties between the app and the Chinese Communist party but will continue to monitor this story as it develops speaking of China as more and more days go by China and Russia appear to grow closer and closer Vladimir Putin of Russia and president XI of China met for dinner on Monday in Moscow now news their shindig didn't do much to calm and already Restless World stage and addressing the press the leaders referred to one another as quote dear friends with a two-man lavishing one another with praise while pledging to cooperate closely with one another in the future as relates to their shared interests Outlaw it's difficult to ascertain exactly what was discussed from listening to state-run Media outlets in Russia and China exactly the most trustworthy sources here this comes as China has made Moves though to position itself as the most dominant Global force in the world now this meeting is also concerned though given that China also appears to have its sights set on Taiwan and house Foreign Affairs committee chairman representative Michael McCall voice concerns on Monday that Taiwan is particularly vulnerable to Invasion by China speaking on the Fox Business Network McCall had this to say we have no deterrents we have no joint military exercises with Taiwan unlike Ukraine they're incapable of fighting their own War if invaded so the question is begged yeah who will help them fight needless to say this isn't the best news for America or it's allies now the woman of the year of this year well it's a man at least according to USA Today a decision that was met with controversy USA Today named Democratic state representative Lee Fink woman of the year but one small problem guys I don't think isn't a woman and was born a biological male USA Today caused a similar stir last year for putting transgender Biden Administration official Rachel Levine on the list earlier this month in First Lady Joe Biden and Secretary of State Anthony blingen also found themselves in hot water when they presented a transgender woman from Argentina with an award for women on International women's day 2023 folks 2023 its top three days to know so guys who is George Soros the play the best entrepreneur well that's how the left likes to describe him it doesn't really tell the whole story over his lifetime Soros has donated billions of dollars Progressive causes candidates and organizations 18 billion dollars to be exact as one might imagine these weren't contributions made out of the goodness of his heart these were Investments made with the expectation of a return it's his most recent investment though that should give you the most worry 32 million dollars that's the amount that Soros has spent on electing far left district attorneys in every corner of the country to remake the justice system as he sees fit and what has been the result of it for a rise in violent crime in cities with Soros back to yays to what some have described as politically motivated prosecutions of former president Trump in Atlanta and New York the results of soros's investment have not been without consequence and that's something that you should know well guys that is all for
