For the Glaze base
2 ¼ cups (9 oz/255 g) powdered sugar, sifted
3-4 tablespoons whole milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Sāmores
2 ½ tablespoons glaze
½ teaspoon cocoa powder
4 tablespoons marshmallow fluff
2 graham crackers, lightly crushed
M&M'S
2 ½ tablespoons glaze
½ teaspoon cocoa powder
4 tablespoons M&Ms
Toasted Coconut
2 ½ tablespoons glaze
4 tablespoons sweetened toasted coconut flakes
Classic Sprinkles
2 ½ tablespoons glaze
4 tablespoons sprinkles
Ube
2 ½ tablespoons glaze
2 drops ube extract
2 teaspoons edible gold glitter
Fruity Pebbles
2 ½ tablespoons glaze
1 drop pink food coloring
4 tablespoons fruity pebbles
Caramel Corn
3 tablespoons Salted Caramel Sauce, warmed until thick but pourable
½ cup Caramel Corn
Fry the Doughnuts
1. Set a wire rack over a baking sheet and place it next to you by the stove.
2. Pour oil 2-inches (5 cm) deep into a sturdy, heavy-bottomed pan and heat over medium heat until the oil reaches 325°F (165°C).
3. Fry 2 or 3 doughnuts at a time: fry one side for about 2 minutes, until deep golden, then flip and fry the other side for about 2 more minutes.
4. Transfer to the wire rack to drain while you fry the remaining doughnuts. Let cool before glazing.
