Building a house in the Philippines is really challenging, from dealing with workers who don't speak your language, standards of work is somehow not up to your expectations, building materials are mostly sub standard or else you will pay through the roof, and worst case is where to get a supplier who can deliver to our place. We have found one supplier in Gensan who can deliver to us but there is a constant problem, they don't deliver when they promised and even worse, they've delivered in the middle of the night, when everyone is asleep.
