The BEST K-BEAUTY of 2022 - OLIVE YOUNG Awards & Festa in SEOUL, South Korea🇰🇷

[Music] [Music] for the first time in 2019 and I uploaded a video to my Vlog Channel but on my main Channel and I'm here for a beauty event so here we are I hope you guys enjoy these soul videos I'm going to the olive young Awards in Festa so think of it like a huge convention there's also awards for the best-selling products of 2022 which is really exciting so if you want to know the products that Koreans really use and love then definitely stay tuned because there is so many products here it can get overwhelming to like know what to try out we're gonna go through all the best products I already used a bunch of the best sellers that they sent to me when I was getting ready and they turned out amazing so roll Clips good morning started getting ready with the medical tea tree essential mask whenever I do try new skincare products I usually ease into it because I do have acne prone skin but tea tree has always really soothed my skin mul is a professional makeup artist Brand essential skin neuter cushion gives a Natural Glow with a clear veil of moisture and the cushion has like a skin like texture and it looks beautiful Contour time I've been going a lot lighter with contour and this is too cool art class by Rhoden and it's a great matte sculpting powder so I'm doing my usual quick Contour if you don't know what Olive young is it's like CVS in the US all of young stores are around every corner in Seoul and I'll link each product down below because there is a global site that you can easily order from brows this is the award-winning Clio kill Brow Auto hard brow pencil and I have the shade 5 gray brown I wasn't sure if this was going to suit me but I found gray brown Blended in a lot better to my brows than my usual slightly warmer shade Philly Milly ibrush Pro collection I hadn't gone shopping yet for a K Beauty eyeshadow palette so I'm just using some neutral Browns that I brought with me and when I started to add some detail to my crease I'm utilizing these Philly Milly brushes that have very small applicators which is my favorite these brushes only landed a couple months ago and they've already scooped up quite a few Beauty words I do a wing with the Shadow and then I mirror that Wing underneath the eye and I'm using Lily by Red brown liquid liner wish this stayed in focus for application because it is so smooth to apply foreign [Music] lashes [Music] faux lashes and went with a fishtail bun and a big sparkly bow this isn't the dress I'm wearing I'm going to wear something a little more conservative because in my first video I wore a lot of strapless just because I'm used to that and people were like yeah in South Korea like they tend to wear higher necklines it's a little more modest so I picked out no fit that I think is still my style but maybe a little bit more appropriate Let's Get It On [Music] we are headed out [Music] [Music] we're here at the entrance of the olive young Awards in Festa if you're from the States you can think of this as similar to BeautyCon and the Allure Awards combined this is the biggest Beauty and health Awards in South Korea I'm so excited to be in Seoul again and all these beautiful are amazing if you can see the theme is Santa's Village so I have some sparkle going on I'm playing games I'm really bad at but this is so much fun [Music] let's go check out the makeup first up we went to the Jung symbol Booth which was super holographic I got another essential skin neuter cushion and some lip products to try espar I actually successfully won a game here for another full-size sample they're known for their velvet cover cushion and this one is quite popular overseas as well already it's great for sensitive skin and a bit higher coverage than the Jung Sumo cushion that I used earlier I'm sure you're familiar with Laneige this is a K Beauty brand that has definitely gone Global and a lot of these Brands I'm highlighting I think will go Global as well they're amazing products and there is a specific clean Beauty section at all of young like and Sephora so you can specifically shop only clean Beauty if that's your priority based on the ingredients if they are healthy animal friendly and eco-friendly it was so fun to go around to all of these booths learn about the most awarded Olive young winners like Goodall for example is known for their vitamin C dark spot serum a bib is a clean Beauty brand that's really popular for their heart leaf ingredient which is not a very popular ingredient overseas kinda a Korean Best Kept Beauty secret at the moment I just went through so many amazing booths this convention is put together so well and there was a bunch of games and I kept losing but they did give me a lot of full-size samples to try out look at this one for hair what else we got so I hope you guys liked oh this is sunscreen this is one of their best sellers on Olive young and I can't wait to use these products more but here's an update of the product that I kept grabbing for throughout the week pair it to BeautyCon but that was before I actually went inside it is way more epic than BeautyCon it was so extravagant and I can't wait to go through my swag bag [Music] it's a week later and I'm still here in Seoul I'm currently in my hotel room and I wanted to share some of my absolute product absolute products I'm a little jealous absolute favorite products that I've been loving from the olive young Awards in Festa as well as some of the award winners that they sent to me prior so I've been experimenting with a bit longer as well the first one is by Jung Sam wool and this brand is one of their premium Brands this is by a very famous makeup artist here who does a lot of the Korean celebrity makeup looks so there's a lot of high trust in this brand and this ugh I have used cushions before but I stopped for some reason and I've been using this the entire week this is called the essential skin neuter cushion I really love the smell of this one some cushions that I've tried have had a very strong product smell this one is faint but it smells really nice and I find it's very hydrating I definitely powder with a matte powder over top but I love the coverage and it's lasted me every day that I've used it so I really really recommend this one the range it has let me see one two three two three four it has five Shades which is pretty good for the Korean market but hopefully it will continue to expand as these Brands go more Global next product is by the brand of Philly Milly and their Booth was so cool it was packed so I didn't really go into it but it was Harry Potter themed and they had like find your brushes rather than find your wand it was really cool but I love their brushes this is um for eyes and they're really tiny so I love creating kind of detailed eyeshadow looks especially subtle cut creases and this makes it so easy usually I use like random brushes to get it done you guys always ask me like what are these random little brushes I'm using and this is a perfect it you can see I've been using them a bunch [Music] small this one is this Philly Milly collection was in collaboration with Leo Jay who's also a makeup artist and it sold out very quickly and as I'm talking about these of course you don't have to actually come to Korea to try out these products you can shop all of these on the olive young Global as soon as I saw this I was like okay this is so cool I wasn't sure what it was right off the bat I thought maybe it was a cheek tint but it's actually a lip product and it's really lightweight it feels very cloud-like I picked up a ton of these and these are by the brand music Amazon they're amazing this eyeliner incredible you can see it has the olive young Awards 2022 um special packaging here and that is on the site as well if you're looking to have some guided shopping because there are so many products so shopping is the best sellers are a great way to do it and these liners I have not messed up my eyeliner once they are so smooth really really good liner and not very expensive like a lot of this is super affordable and more like drugstore type of makeup so I'm definitely more of an expert in the makeup field than skincare but I am getting more into Korean skincare and it's amazing one of my favorites that I got a lot of are these sheet masks and I really like the tea tree I find that my skin does really well with tea tree so I've been using these a lot well I've been here next we have a hair care brand pronounced Amazon Sen this pink is so pretty and then I love this spray bottle it's so convenient to use I haven't used it today so I'm just gonna oh like do you see how much Mist comes out oh it smells so good oh I love that it's kind of nostalgic kind of reminds me of um what is that called Pink Sugar this brand is very popular in Korea and I have one more that I wanted to share this is my long take and their whole vibe is very earthy and this scent as well oh I love it I'll read what it smells like oh I love that so much okay um black tea and fig softening treatment it looks like this I've been wearing my kind of heavier eye makeup my usual makeup look
