A Day in the Fairytale House: Beekeeping, Wooden Water Mill, and ASMR by the Fireplace

On this autumn day spent in my fairytale house in the heart of the forest, I focused on the chores that needed to be done while keeping up with the rhythm of nature. My day started with caring for the bees in my hives and checking their preparations for winter.

Then, to utilize the water flow around my cabin, I built a wooden water system (mill) using entirely natural materials. As I cut my firewood with a chainsaw, the wild mushrooms appearing on the forest floor were among the little surprises nature offered us.

I relieved the tiredness of the day by the warm fireplace inside my cabin, under the heavy rain that poured down at night. Listening to the crackling of the fire and the sound of raindrops hitting our roof with my dogs, I felt once again what a great source of peace this isolated life is.
