How to make Zunda Dango & Shake (Sweet Edamame paste) 〜ずんだ〜 | easy Japanese home cooking recipe

In this video, I am showing how to make Zunda Dango & Shake. Zunda is a sweet paste with Edamame beans (young soy beans). This is very little known outside of Japan, but is very popular in Japan even though this is a regional dish of Miyagi Prefecture.

In my Channel, I show step by step of alternative but authentic Japanese home cooking, which can be made with the ingredients that are easily available outside of Japan.

Zunda-An (Topping):
- Edamame beans (without pods) 100 g
- Sugar 1-2 Tbsp
- Salt 1/4 Tsp

Dango with rice flour (1 serving/six balls)
- Rice flour 15 g
- Mochiko (Glutinous rice flour) 20 g
- Water 25 g

Zunda Shake:
- Zunda-An 2-3 Tbsp
(Edamake 20-30 g, Sugar 2-3 Tsp, pinch of salt)
- Milk 100 ml
- Ice cream (Vanila) 2-3 scoops
