How to make Steamed Buns (pork & red bean paste buns)〜肉まん＆あんまん〜 | easy Japanese home cooking recipe
In this video, I am showing how to make two types of steamed buns (pork buns and red bean paste buns). These are both originally Chinese food, but has been incorporated in Japanese culture and is very common food/snack.
In my Channel, I show step by step of alternative but authentic Japanese home cooking, which can be made with the ingredients that are easily available outside of Japan.
Ingredients for Steamed buns
Steamed bun dough:
- Flour 150 g
- Water (warm) 75 ml
- Dry yeast 3-4 g
- Baking powder 1/2 Tsp
- Sugar 1 Tsp
- Salt 1/4 Tsp
- Sesame oil 1/2 Tbsp
Meat filling:
- Minced pork 100 g
- Scallion 1 Stalk
- Onion 1/4 - 1/2
- Ginger 5 g
- Garlic 1 clove
- Dried Shitake 1
- Soy sauce 2 Tsp
- Oyster sauce 1 Tbsp
- Salt 1/4 Tsp
- Pepper 1/4 Tsp
- Sugar 1/2 Tsp
- Sesame oil 1 Tbsp
