How to make Curry-Pan (Curry filled buns) 〜カレーパン〜 | easy Japanese home cooking recipe

In this video, I am showing how to make Curry-Pan, a type of bread filled with curry and then fried. This is a typical Japanese style bread, sold in every bakery in Japan and is loved by everyone in Japan.

In my Channel, I show step by step of alternative but authentic Japanese home cooking, which can be made with the ingredients that are easily available outside of Japan.

Ingredients for An-Pan
Bread dough:
- Flour 200 g
- Sugar 25 g
- Salt 3 g
- Dry yeast 3 g
- Egg 1/2
- Water 90-100 ml
- Butter (unsalted) 20 g

Curry filling:
- Ground meat 50 g
- Onion 1/2
- Carrot 1/2
- Garlic 1 clove
- Ginger 5-10 g
- Instant Mashed potato 1 Tbsp
- Curry mixture 45 g
- Water 120-150 ml

Coating:
- Panko 50 g
- Egg 1/2
