【Classical music and nature Schumann: Variations On The Name Abegg. This beautiful piece was presented by germanrecords. It is a royalty free music from Pond5.com.
Robert Schumann hesitated for a long time before having one of his works printed. This honour is bestowed on the Abegg Variations, as they are later called, in direct reference to the dedication on the manuscript: To: "Mademoiselle Pauline Comtesse d'Abegg".
"They (Robert Schumann's compositions) are so unique, so different from the way we have been used to until now, that they can justifiably be described as "oppositional", all the more so as the individual pieces were really intended to be oppositional. Like Schumann's entire individuality, these first compositions were also directed against the mere making of music. He turned his imagination to poetic processes, to which he then gave musical form in his tone movements, or these are homages to beloved and honoured persons. The latter include the "Variations on the name Abegg op. 1 (...) with which the young master gave expression to his individuality, which he himself objectified as "Florestan" and "Eusebius", and had already created the first monumental works of the new direction"
"The Master's imperishable significance for the development of our art has already been explained in the article on Romanticism. What this new world still offered in the way of artistic expression, he moulded magnificently and grandly, thus leading not only instrumental music but also vocal music into new paths of development and at the same time creating a series of works that will retain their significance forever."

這是來自Pond5.com的免版稅音樂。
