Liszt's 'Liebesträume' (Dreams of Love) is a set of three solo piano pieces by Franz Liszt, published in 1850. This one is particularly beautiful and dreamy.

Franz Liszt was one of the most important composers of the New German School, a master of the piano and of virtuosity in general known to history. He was a member of a former aristocratic family (which was later restored to the nobility by the Emperor of Austria). It was thanks to his father that Franz Liszt received an excellent musical education from a very early age. He was taught piano by Czerny and composition by Salieri when the Liszt family moved to Vienna. He also decided not to join the socialist school, believing that this field required more objective studies than those pursued by his socialist acquaintances. He turned away from these ideas to religious studies. He fought battles of wit with Heinrich Heine and discussed marriage and the affairs of ladies in good society. On one occasion, while playing in public, he was embraced by Beethoven, an experience he never forgot.
