The Secret of Secrets: Discerning between Beingness and the Absolute
In this video, Bentinho Massaro explores the root of all experiences. He explains how we can create a shield that allows for freedom, by maintaining an awareness of beingness as an “object” to which all experiences belong. He encourages the practice of maintaining this awareness, as even a little bit of concentration can lead to glimpses of absolute freedom, which in turn can make a significant impact on our lives. The recognition of beingness as the basis for all experiences creates space for something indescribable and formless to emerge.
Bentinho also expands on the idea of letting go of our attachment to being. Softening this attachment also softens attachments to fears and other identifications. Mantras can be used to evoke this understanding. For example: "Everything that happens, happens to and because of I-Am."
This subtle yet powerful mechanism acts as the secret of secrets, unlocking intuitive awareness and opening the gateway to absolute freedom. Although it may seem obvious once understood, many people are unaware of this specific secret and its transformative potential. With faith and conviction, even a small glimpse of this mechanism can alter one's perspective and deepen one's understanding of experiences.
