ExclusiveHaydn: Symphony No. 49 in F Minor 'The Passion', Hob. Hob. I:49

【Classical Music and Nature Franz Joseph Haydn: Symphony No. 49 in F Minor 'The Passion', Hob. I:49. This beautiful piece was played by Netherlands Chamber Orchestra. It has Creative Commons license and is provided through www.musopen.org.

The title "La passione" (Ital. = passion, time of suffering) does not originate from Haydn, but apparently goes back to an entry on a copy made by a Leipzig copyist around 1790. This really makes me wonder what Haydn might have named this piece. It is powerful and wonderful. If any of the audience knows more, please get in touch!

The crocuses were taken by Christian Schlegel in spring 2023 with an X-H2S. The film was edited by Wenjing Ma.
