
Octopussy | Bede BD-5J 'Acrostar' Jet

Octopussy is taken from a short story in the 1996 short story collection of Ian Fleming. The collection's name is "Octopussy and The Living Daylights". The film's plot is mostly original. The director is John Glen, and the screenplay writers are George MacDonald Fraser, Richard Maibaum, and Michael G. Wilson. Eon Productions produced the film in 1983.
Octopussy begins by tracking a fanatical Soviet general (Steven Berkoff) stealing jewelry and art objects from the Kremlin's art archives. Bond gets to know a saved Afghan prince, a rich man named Kamal Khan (Louis Jourdan), and Khan's partner Octopussy (Maud Adams). They uncover a plot to force disarmament in Western Europe using nuclear weapons.

The Bede BD-5J, or the Acrostar Jet, is an American single-seat light jet aircraft designed by Jim Bede and manufactured by Bede Aircraft of Medina, Ohio.
