THOR: The Dark World (2013) - Thor Asks Loki For Help
After Frigga's death, Thor confronts Loki and seeks his help for revenge on Malekith. Loki, whom Frigga had always loved, was able to reconsider his life choices and join forces with his brother to avenge their mother's death.
Thor and Loki, in this scene, show how much they love their mother and need each other's help to defeat the enemies. Loki loves his mother just like Thor does. Losing his mom makes Loki mourn and angry. At first, Loki tries to hide behind his illusion, but Thor sees through it. When Thor asked Loki to stop with the illusions, Loki then showed his real self. This is such a wonderful scene because it's probably the only time in all the movies that Loki allows anyone to see him being vulnerable and miserable. Thor offered to liberate Loki in exchange for his assistance and promised to avenge Frigga's death. Despite Thor's threats to kill Loki if he betrayed him, Loki accepted the offer.

Loki : Thor! After all this time now you come to visit me! Why? Have you come to gloat? To mock?
Thor : Loki, enough! No more illusions.
Loki : Now you see me, brother!

Thor : I did not come here to share our grief. Instead I offer you the chance of a far richer sacrament...
Loki : Go on.
Thor : I know you seek vengeance as much as I do. You help me escape Asgard, and I will grant it to you. Vengeance. And afterward, this cell.
Loki : You must be truly desperate to come to me for help. What makes you think you can trust me?
Thor : I don't. Mother did. You should know that when we fought each other in the past, I did so with a glimmer of hope that my brother was still in there somewhere. That hope no longer exists to protect you. You betray me, and I will kill you.
Loki : Hm. When do we start?
