THOR: The Dark World (2013) - Thor & Frigga discuss Loki - Deleted Scene
After Odin imprisoned Loki, Frigga did everything she could to comfort Loki. However, Loki still was controlled by his jealousy and envy towards his brother, Thor. Loki felt unequal, thinking that his father, Odin, favored Thor more than him. In anger, Loki does not acknowledge his adoptive father and adoptive mother, who love him dearly. This deeply hurt Frigga.
This scene is after Frigga has visited Loki in prison. Even though Loki has made Frigga hurt deeply, she still does not regret sharing her magic with Loki. Frigga is a noble queen of Asgard, a caring wife, and a gentle mother.
Through the discussion between her and Thor about Loki, she is found to be a very optimistic and compassionate character. Frigga is said to be one of the best mothers in the MCU world. She loves her children to death even though they may have committed crimes and betrayed their families.
Though this scene was deleted from the movie, it explains where Loki got his magic gift and gives us further insight into his connection with his mother. Let’s enjoy watching the video. You will have a more comprehensive view of each movie character from this movie clip.
