Hi Bold Bakers!
When I have done three ingredient recipes in the past, you guys have gone nuts for them.
Also when I do Nutella, everybody loves Nutella recipes.
So I thought, why not create a double whammy?
Three recipes, just three ingredients, all featuring Nutella.
I'm really excited to do this video, so let's get baking.
So we're gonna start out making our Nutella brownies.
Now if you love rich, fudgy brownies, these guys are right up your alley.
The recipes can be found on BiggerBolderBaking.com and also make sure you tap that subscribe
button so you don't miss out on any of my upcoming videos.
Okay, let's start out in a nice large bowl.
The first thing that we're adding in is our Nutella.
There you go, there is all our gooey, chocolatey Nutella.
Already smells lovely.
Okay, our next ingredient are eggs.
Now if you don't eat eggs, do not worry.
You can replace them with applesauce, mashed banana, or flaxseed egg.
Now all of that information is on BiggerBolderBaking.com so you can look at it there.
And then lastly, our third ingredient is flour.
Now it's just a little bit, and this will make it nice and cakey, but still really gooey
and fudgy, which is the way I like it.
And then with your whisks, just bring it all together.
I mean, it doesn't get much simpler than this.
Some Nutella, flour, eggs, and you have yourself a lovely dessert.
Once your batter is all mixed up and there's no more lumps of flour, we're gonna go ahead
and put it into our baking tray.
So go ahead and pour it into your lined tray.
Just look at how gooey that is, you know this is gonna be fudgy.
Go ahead and spread it out with your spatula nice and evenly.
Now depending on how you like your brownies, you could add in chopped nuts, chunks of chocolate,
anything you like in here would be really nice.
Okay, there we go, brownies in like, what, 5 minutes?
These look fantastic and they're ready to go into the oven.
Bake your brownies off at 350°F or 180°C for roughly 20-25 minutes.
These brownies smell so good, oh my gosh.
Just look at the top of them, you can tell they're a little bit soft in the middle so
they're nice and fudgy underneath, and they're a little bit crispy on the outside which will
make them a little bit chewy.
These are the way I like my brownies.
So these are nice and cool so I'm gonna cut them open because you have to see how good
they look on the inside.
So considering that it's summertime and you might have a little bit more time on your
hands, these 3 ingredient recipes are perfect when you've got an hour or two to spare and
you want to do some baking.
This is what you want to make.
And just look at that brownie, check that out, it's really really fudgy underneath,
it's nice and moist, oh!
My kind of brownie.
Mmm.
I mean, seriously, it does not get much better than a 3 ingredient Nutella brownie.
Mmm, yummy.
Okay, that is one Nutella recipe down, let's move on to our next one.
Okay, so we already saw how to make awesome brownies, the next thing we are going to make
are Nutella cookies, you're gonna go nuts for these.
So we're gonna start out in a nice big bowl.
Add in your Nutella, egg, and flour.
And then whisk all these ingredients together.
So now you can always refer to my egg substitute chart when you're trying to substitute eggs
in your baking, but for cookies you're gonna substitute it with flaxseed egg or condensed
milk and that will work really well.
So now you probably have noticed that these are the same ingredients that we used in the
brownie, however there's more flour in this recipe so we can shape and mold a cookie better.
Okay, so that's our cookie dough, really really fast and simple, now we're gonna scoop them
all and put them on our baking tray.
So this cookie dough will make around 12 cookies.
Then pop it onto your baking tray, and flatten it down because it actually won't spread when
you're baking them, so give it a good squish down so you get a nice shape on it.
Get it nice and flat.
So you can feel free to make this dough in advance and leave it in the fridge for around
2-3 days and it'll be totally fine, and then you can just bake off fresh cookies whenever
you want them.
There we go, exactly 12 cookies, all squished, ready for the oven.
Bake your Nutella cookies off at 350°F or 180°C for 8-10 minutes.
The less you cook them, the fudgier they will be.
So here are our cookies, they smell amazing.
They look so great, as you can see they crinkled on top, they spread out a little bit, and
they're nice and soft in the middle.
So now in my opinion, all cookies should be enjoyed warm, straight from the oven.
So that's what I'm gonna do.
So you see how soft this is in the middle and kind of chewy?
This is the difference between the brownies and the cookies.
The brownies are fudgy, where the cookies are a little bit chewy.
Oh, yummy.
If you like the chewy part where brownies are chewy cookies, you're gonna love these
guys.
And they're moist as well at the same time, oh they're so yummy.
Ok, two successful Nutella recipes down, let's move on to our third one.
So this last Nutella recipe is going to blow your mind.
I have my food processor here and I have some Oreos, but you can use any kind of chocolate
cookies or even plain cookies that you have at home.
I'm gonna add these in there.
And then my secret ingredient, Nutella.
I'm just gonna go ahead and scoop it right in there, like chocolate gold, check that
out.
Oh, yummy.
It's like a delicious glue that's gonna stick together our cookies.
So now this mix is going to make the most delicious chocolate truffles.
They are soft and rich and decadent, you're gonna love them.
So just put on your hat, and then blend it all together until it's nice and fine.
So it only takes a few seconds and you'll start to see it clump together, so that's
when we're gonna turn it off.
Take off your hat, and then as you can see, it's kind of formed a dough, this is perfect
for shaping into our truffles.
So here is the delicious center for our truffles.
Now all you want to do, it's really simple, just get a little ball in your hand, shape
it around a mouth size full, just around a bite size piece, maybe two bite sizes, and
then put it onto a tray.
And just go ahead and keep on rolling the rest of your truffles.
Now if you want to, you can put a hazelnut in the middle of these, some nuts, get really
creative, you know, you can add different flavors to them.
And then just keep on rolling until they're all done.
Now if Nutella is not your jam, that's totally okay.
What you can also replace the Nutella with is like a peanut butter spread, that would
work really well too.
That would make nice truffles.
There you go, our homemade truffles are all scooped, now I'm gonna pop these guys into
the fridge for around 30 minutes, and just let them set and firm up.
So my truffles are out of the fridge and they're nice and cold, so now it is time to dip them
and make them all beautiful.
So here I have a bowl of melted chocolate, a nice dark rich chocolate, and then here
I have some chopped toasted hazelnuts which I'm gonna sprinkle on top and it will give
nice texture and crunch.
So with your forks, just dip your truffle into your chocolate, get a nice coating on
your hazelnut, perfect, let the chocolate drip off, put it back on your tray, then get
some hazelnuts, give it a little sprinkle sprinkle on top, and there you have a gorgeous
homemade truffle with just three ingredients.
This is a really great recipe if you're throwing a dinner party and you need a quick dessert,
also makes a really fantastic gift, and nobody's going to know it was just three ingredients.
So just go ahead and keep on dunking and dipping until all your truffles are coated, and try
not to eat them until they're set, because I really want to try one.
So now that they're all dipped, I'm noticing that a few of them have set, so I'm gonna
give them a little tasty taste.
Oh my gosh, look, do you see this?
Mmm.
Delicious, it's rich and soft and moist, these are absolutely gorgeous.
So whether you're all about brownies, maybe even cookies, or if decadent truffles are
your thing, there is a recipe here for everyone and I know you're going to love them.
