So to tell a little story, last night while editing I unplugged my external hard drive
without ejecting it first. A big no-no. Right now our one full day in Boston
is actually deleted and missing and we are currently trying to recover it and we'll see
in a few hours if whatever magic he's working works out. I gotta work some magic. I'm the one
that did it. Really hope we get Boston back. Okay. So if you see a Boston video, say yay!
And if you don't, then we never went to Boston ever. Ever. We didn't go to any city. Nope.
Never went. Never saw the Freedom Trail. Didn't see Paul Revere's grave. Nope. None of that. None
of that ever happened. Never got cannolis. Never ate clam chowder. So hopefully we don't make any
more mistakes and we're gonna hit the road and try again. Nathan is reviewing all the lost footage
and we think we got Boston back. I'm really happy about that. I was very sad last night.
Google your problems. It helps like 75% of the time. So that's awesome. You guys might, should,
hopefully, will see our visit to Boston.
We're all packed up and ready to go. We've worked all morning.
It's one o'clock. Today we're gonna head into Boston. Home sweet home. I feel so rested and
clean. The plan for the day, Freedom Trail and clam chowder.
I miss going to new cities, riding metros. This is exciting. Be mindful of the size
of bill you use to pay for your subway ticket.
I put a $20 bill in here and it gave me my change in coins.
The first stop on the Freedom Trail is Boston Commons. This is the oldest public park
in the entire United States. Started in 1634.
Today Amber was making fun of me because I know the most useless facts and she just kind of points
out, yeah, who was the first person to die in the Revolutionary War? And my response was Christmas
Addicts. Who's the first person to die in the Revolutionary War? The Boston Massacre.
And here's his grave along with the other people who died that day.
Okay, this is the old South Meeting House. This is the largest building in colonial Boston.
Not only that, this is where 5,000 protesters came and met to protest the tea tax. This is
where the Boston Tea Party started. This is the old State House. In 1770, this is the site and
location of the Boston Massacre. This is where the Revolutionary War started.
Everybody tells me you have to try in Boston is a cup of clam chowder. We're at the Quincy
Market Building. We went to the Boston Chowder Co. Chowder. Let's dig in.
Would you like a cup? Two cups, two cups. Coming right up, sir. What do you say?
Wow, so cool. Thank you so much.
Can we get a beer real quick? What'd you say? Can we get a beer real quick?
Yeah. This is one of those things where it's more exciting because you didn't
think that it was going to happen today. This is the oldest still running tavern in the United States.
Enjoy. Thank you. This is the Samuel Adams Boston Red. It is Sam Adams,
but this is not served anywhere else other than Boston. I'm going to consider that a local beer.
What an extra special way to end this day. We got to catch the train back to the parking lot
to sleep in an extra special Walmart, but that was so much fun.
Today was a very, very successful day in Boston. We've got lots to share with you, but we just made
it back to our van and now we are going to head to Rhode Island, which would be our eighth state,
I believe. I'm exhausted. Where are we headed? Back to the hotel. And why? I left my camera
charger behind in the outlet. It's like the one charger we need. The one charger that's like most
important. I'm sure we could try to find one somewhere else, but it's probably not that simple.
So Nathan said he gets a freebie, which is true. In the future, which will happen,
he'll leave something behind and I'm not allowed to get mad about it. So okay, that's it. We're
leaving the train station. So it's about 25 minutes away. We do have to backtrack, but it's,
it could have been much further. And at that point we just would have had to buy a new charger.
So this isn't too bad.
