AI GeneratedThe speaker and her fiancé, Kim, take a relaxing trip to Paris, staying in a luxury loft at the Hyatt near the Champs-Élysées. Their visit focuses on soaking in the city's Art Deco architecture, visiting high-end cafes like the Saint Laurent Cafe, and exploring fashion through vintage shopping in Le Marais and visits to designer boutiques.
Kim and I have just landed in Paris.
We are back since many, many years.
For me, it's been probably 10 years since I've last spent more than a day in Paris.
We decided to take a break from Copenhagen summer and go to Paris.
Spent two days here with nothing planned apart from strolling around, just soaking everything
the city has to offer, and of course, lots and lots of matcha and coffee.
Just strolling around and have a good time.
We just checked into the most beautiful photo room I've ever been in.
I don't know if you can hear it on the echo in my voice, but this room is huge.
I want to give you a little room tour before we're heading out.
We are staying at the Hayat near the Champs-Élysées.
And we're staying in this stunning loft apartment.
It's so high to the ceiling.
And when you enter, you have this living room.
And how cute are these flowers?
They left us.
It has these beautiful floor-to-ceiling kind of windows with the most stunning view overlooking
Paris.
I love the neutral tones that this little apartment hotel room has.
And let me show you the bedroom.
What are you doing in the corner?
You banished me to the corner.
You told me to get away when you did our room tour.
Well, that's fair.
That's fair.
But yeah, even this room has such a high ceiling and a huge wardrobe space over here.
And I'm also quite surprised how big this bathroom is.
It has his and her sink.
Convenient.
Stunning huge shower.
And then in between the kitchen area, you have the toilet with a little sink.
I'm honestly so grateful to be back.
Every time I come here, I just get reminded how beautiful this city is.
I'm on a sucker for old buildings, especially anything with Art Deco, Art Nouveau.
And Paris is literally immersed in this architecture.
And I cannot wait to explore it a bit more this time with my fiancée.
But first, we are gonna see if we can grab a matcha and a coffee,
because we've been up very early and we need a pick-me-up.
But before that, I think I just need to really quickly
unpack, or else I cannot keep my mind calm.
I don't know, maybe it's just me who needs to unpack before leaving a hotel room.
Okay, so before heading into the city, I want to show you what I'm wearing today.
Today's outfit is very inspired by Jackie Kennedy.
I kind of felt the Parisian vibe in this outfit.
So my bag, it's a new one I got from Dernier.
I love the raffia on this bag, mixed with leather.
Then I'm wearing my new Cezanne pants.
Cezanne are French, so obviously, I need to have some French element in my outfit.
My peplum top is from Gestus.
Ballerinas are essential in Paris.
Every Parisian girl is wearing ballerinas.
Obviously, I needed to get mine out and wear them in Paris.
And they are from Cotemi.
A scarf is basically one-to-one with Jackie Yeoh.
And that one is from Poulet, I think.
And then my Ray-Ban glasses, the model Jackie Yeoh, which I'm going to wear on my head.
I think they're kind of cool on top of my scarf.
And then my watch, bangle watch from Sandra.
We're now ready to go.
Kim, are you ready?
Yeah, let's go.
So
We're now back from a very eventful day.
We got home.
We tried to recharge a little bit because we were up very, very early.
And now I am getting ready for dinner.
We're gonna eat at the hotel today.
We walked past the Saint Laurent Cafe.
They recently opened it and we saw it on TikTok and we were in the area anyways.
It was so beautiful.
I really love the aesthetic there.
All the small, like, souvenirs that you can buy there.
It was really well done.
Bless you.
We were there for like, I don't know, an hour where we sat and chit-chatted.
We took some pictures.
And then, which I find it quite funny.
The first, I don't know, half an hour we spent there to take pictures, nobody said anything.
Then I went back in just to check the souvenirs again if I wanted to bring something home.
And then I wanted to take a little picture of an ashtray they had.
I wanted to send it to a friend as well because I need a second opinion, obviously.
Then one of the people who worked there came over and said not allowed to take pictures.
Which I found it quite weird because we took pictures right before.
I saw on TikTok as well that there are some people that generally go in there with suitcases
just to take pictures there.
Which I think is kind of disrespectful.
We were lucky, apparently, to go there early enough that there were no people there.
And that was okay, apparently, for pictures.
We're ready for dinner now and I'm wearing the Frankie Shell skirt, maxi skirt,
flattish heels, and my absolute favorite top with this beautiful detail here,
like a tuxedo combo bun detail here from Roller Frames.
I'm going to look at the back.
Done.
Can't wait to get some food.
Good morning.
It's seven o'clock in the morning.
I'm taking a very slow morning today.
It's our last day in Paris, our last full day.
And Kim has already woken up and went for a little run around the area.
Sorry for my bad hair, but what do you mean that this is actually my view this morning?
Today's plan is probably checking out Le Marais for a little vintage shop, a few cafes,
and then stroll around the nearby sightseeing spots.
Thinking of waiting to get breakfast until Kim's get back.
So I think I'm just going to wait for him and catch up with my book.
Book has got back!
Was it a good one?
It was a very nice view.
But it was a good one?
Yeah.
I noticed that Paris is such a loud city though.
The traffic is crazy loud.
I tried to record me talking and all I could hear was city noise.
It was crazy.
Well, welcome to the big city.
Yeah.
Thank you much more than COVID, you know.
Before leaving, I wanted to do a little outfit breakdown.
Today I'm wearing my vintage Prada from the 90s.
Shoes are flattered, my absolute favorite kitten heels.
I'm not sure if it's going to be cold this morning.
I'm wearing my leather jacket from Kairon by Simonson.
My stunning new addition to my jewelry box,
which is this beautiful beaded necklace from Doremi.
The set and skirt is an old one from Naked and the top is...
Chanel, I think.
I'm heading over to Annina Bing.
I'm going to meet a girl called Boo who once worked at Pullen.
But now she changed her job.
And see if there's anything I can take home with me.
And I took the matcha to go.
And while I'm there, Kimo-san will go and check out Agnes Studios,
which is one of his favorite stores.
So
We just got back home and my feet are hurting.
We've been walking so much.
I'm going to use this recovery time to show you what we got today.
We went to a few places.
I didn't manage to visit everything that I wanted to in terms of vintage shop.
But I went to a few that I really wanted to go.
Let's start off with the small things.
We went and got the afternoon matcha and coffee at the Saint Laurent coffee shop.
There's another one located near the Louvre.
And over there, we got this way overpriced little lighters.
One in white that says Saint Laurent.
And another one in black with a different kind of print logo.
I don't smoke or anything.
So if someone asks if you got light, you can just pull out this one.
And I think it's kind of cool.
And then I finally managed to go to the Officine Universelle Bulli.
And I wasn't sure if I wanted to have a comb or the lip balm.
Since I've already got a similar comb from New York, I wanted to go with the lip balm.
I love, love these packages.
And obviously, I went with the black one because black is my happy color.
And I have my initials on it.
The case is black.
And the, what do you say, leather thingy is black as well with my initials in gold.
When you open it, it has this little compartment with the lip balm.
I'm really happy with it, to be honest.
If you follow me long enough, you know that I rarely, rarely wear colors.
But I fell in love with this pink chiffon kind of blouse that I found in one of the
Only for €50.
Let me just try it on.
I find it very elegant and it kind of felt different and I really liked it.
Then I visited Lou at the neighboring store and they had so many beautiful things there.
But I ended up coming home with this linen dress, which I immediately had to wear.
So I changed my outfit and hopped into this one.
I also got this raffia bag with the classic raffia color but with a color block of black
and has a stunning detail here.
And I did think that it matched quite well this dress.
But I also got these linen Bermuda shorts in this stunning ivory ecru color, which was
perfect because I actually wanted to get some Bermuda shorts at some point in the summer.
So they came right in time.
And finally, I got the jeans that I tried on in the video.
The model is called Kate and it's a high-rise slim straight.
The only problem is problem.
The only thing is that it's a size 27.
I was probably meant to wear a size 26, but they were completely sold out.
So I just had to have them and just live with the fact that they are one size too big.
And we're gonna head out in a second, do a little evening stroll around the Louvre,
which we're not allowed.
I really want to see it before I leave.
So yeah, let's go.
