Six simple tips:
(1) Caulk around window trims, and door trims in the house to prevent cold air from coming through those gaps.
(2) Shrink-wrapping windows using double-sided tape to attach to windows. Then put the shrink-wrap on, and use the hairdryer to heat it.
(3) Put a good door draft at the bottom of the door.
(4) Make sure pipes are wrapped with an insulated form
(5) Capping off hose extension by putting over a cap to protect it from freezing and bursting.
(6) Remove leaves in gutters because leaves make snow build up on gutters.
