Restoration of an 18th Century Building is one of the biggest challenges out there. This video clip shows you the extraordinary restoration story of Mark Horton and his wife Sheena.

The building mentioned in this video was built in 1748. When Mark first bought this building, it was nothing more than a wreck or a ruin. The restoration project took Mark two years to complete, and it nearly cost them everything. Halfway into the project, Mark had a massive heart attack. His wife was in the hospital and the bank had pulled along. Anyone else would have thrown in the towel, but incredibly, he was back at work. He refused to be defeated and battled on to achieve his ambition of creating his dream home.

By watching this video, we may find out that the restoration of this building is really the most wonderful journey. In the middle of the landscape, we now know a little bit about what this building might have been used for. We know something about the people who lived here in the past.
