Renovation of an Old Cottage Kitchen (needing a lot of restoration and DIY)

This video shows a part of the renovation process of an old cottage kitchen. Since the kitchen is too old, it requires a lot of restoration and DIY work. The work stage shown here is mainly for installing plaster boardings around the kitchen walls.
At a château cottage in the North-West French countryside, Tracy and Tony continue working on the kitchen restoration this week. Now it's time for the plaster boarding. Tony begins by installing wood battens along the wall in preparation for later mounting cabinets and accessories. Over 35 boards are attached by Tracy and Tony across the new kitchen space. Jonathan then displays the plants he has in his new tiny vegetable garden.

A North-East English family who are pursuing an ambition of renovating a stunning French Château that has been left abandoned. In the summer of 2020, they came across the breathtaking Château De Lalacelle, a magnificent architectural landmark located in the North-West French countryside. They all fell in love with the Château right at the moment they arrived, from its breathtakingly exquisite intact interiors to its majestic spiral staircase in the turret. The whole family then decided to relocate from the UK to rural France and bring this magnificent structure back to its former splendor. Unfortunately, Château De Lalacelle needs extensive restoration and DIY work because it has been abandoned for a number of years.
