Renovation of a Chateau Dining Room

This video shows you the Renovation of a Chateau Dining Room. Anna and Philips began a comprehensive renovation of their dining room five weeks ago in preparation for their first large family Christmas at the Chateau. They ultimately decided on a wall color after several weeks of cleaning, sanding, preparing, priming, and electrical work. They opted against the mural's green color and wallpapered it to protect it and create a duplicate in case they ever want to have it reproduced.

Only five days left to complete the renovation of the dining room. Big deadlines are stressful, but so satisfying to complete. Phillip has done a magnificent job on the gorgeous kitchen sink, a truly remarkable job of installing the electrical plugs and everything else.

Phillip's mother is wonderful, she creates a memory that the girls will have forever: baking a gingerbread house together. Anna's mom and dad are a delight; they jump right into renovations as soon as they step into the chateau.

Anna is an amazing artist and naturally intuitive about colors and finishing touches. She decorated the mantel over the fireplace with dried orange slices and greenery.

There was a lot of work to be done, but with the Family's assistance, Anna and Philips truly outdid themselves and completed their renovation in time. The dining room grew into a lovely holiday gathering space.
