We are an ADVENTUROUS family of 6 who lost our son to SIDS in 2014. Our biggest regret was not having family videos of him when he was here and is why we started doing daily vlogs!
Thomas is a 2X North American Champion in his kick-boxing career and Ashley is a network-marketing professional and speaker in her company.
Together we have 5 year old Identical twins- Simon & Cohen. Our son Miloh was born 12/12/13 and passed away 5/20/14. We were blessed with our Rainbow baby Ezrah this year on 03/02/17 and we have loved sharing our every day journey with our subscribers and are looking forward to where this journey takes us!
Good morning, guys.
This is probably not a view you've ever seen before.
This is our master bathroom that is still not finished.
We haven't even started it, actually,
and we still have those old closet doors right there.
As I was getting ready this morning,
I thought I would just chat with you for a minute.
Also wanted to say I got my Lorac Perfection foundation
that I've loved and used for like five or six years.
Came in the mail this morning, so I'm like,
yes, I'm going back, I'm going back.
I like this better, a lot better.
And you know what?
I do like the way this covers better than the Tarte.
I've been using this for like two weeks now
and like trying to love it,
but it doesn't do what I want it to do.
So I'm, yes, this feels so good.
I love this stuff.
Anyway, today we are going to go visit Milo's headstone.
We didn't go on Memorial Day,
and I'll tell you guys why when we get there.
It's kind of like this tradition that we do after,
but I'll show you why once we're there.
I'll kind of chat with you there.
So yeah, we're going to his grave.
We buried him.
The cemetery is literally like two minutes away
from our house, and I love that.
I love how convenient it is to go see him.
Like sometimes when I'm having a bad day,
I'll just drive right down the street
and that's where his headstone is.
He's also buried,
he's also buried right next to both my grandparents
on my mom's side, like my mom's mom and dad,
and then my dad's dad is buried in the same cemetery.
We have tons of family there.
So it's like, my family originated from this town.
So basically half of the cemetery is my family.
But yeah, we do love that.
We love that he's really close by.
Thomas's, all his siblings that have passed away,
he's had three siblings, two brothers and a sister,
and they've all died.
I mean, between the ages of 24 and 30 something.
So I mean, some of these were more recent,
but they were all, they're all buried in Idaho, in Millad.
And so when it came to burying Milo,
I was just like, no, I wanna be able to go see him
as often as possible.
So we chose to bury him closer to us.
So yeah, but we're gonna go do that today.
We have other things we need to do.
We are planning on doing like a Father's Day barbecue
at our house with like tons of family.
So I know that's like in a couple of weeks,
but we have a lot of work in the yard still to do.
And so I'm trying to get everything done out there.
And Thomas is still really busy with tables.
So it's been like, it's been crazy.
So yeah, we'll see what the day brings,
but so far that is the plan.
It's to go see our little boy's grave
and leave him some balloons and some flowers.
Well, I love this foundation.
I definitely miss it.
I'm still waiting for the boys to get done
from grandma's school and Ezra's asleep.
So I'm like really bored right now.
What is that?
No, Golden Sonic, the EXE, Golden.
Oh, Golden Sonic, okay.
What's this boys?
What's this?
The Bossy R.
The Bossy R?
That's so cool.
Can you tell your mama what the Bossy R does?
What does the Bossy R do?
Sometimes you can't even hear the vowel.
All you can hear is the Bossy R.
Okay, show mom how you do it.
Say these letters.
Say I, no, get over here.
I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I,
What does it say?
Er.
Oh, they all say er, yeah.
You don't even hear the I, you just hear the R.
You're right, that is a Bossy R.
He's so bossy.
Yeah, so.
Marth, it's so windy.
What the heck?
Okay, it's really windy out here.
I was gonna like sit and talk with you guys,
but I think I'm gonna talk at home
when it stops being so freaking crazy.
I mean, this is, I gotta, I gotta hold onto that.
I don't wanna lose it.
Pretty sure I could grow old in this spot right here
on my rocking chair.
Yeah, that's fine.
And this will be my grandbabies in the future.
And I'll be yelling, kids, get out of my garden!
We really like to visit Milo after Memorial Day
because that's when he was buried, so.
What, the day he was buried,
it was the day after Memorial Day.
And I remember looking out and just thinking like,
it was so beautiful to see all of the headstones
like covered in flowers, so.
We always go after, um, to decorate each headstone.
But, hi honey, you had some fun, huh?
He wants to go back.
Of course, it was crazy windy.
I'm like, what the heck, you guys saw?
My lashes were, my lashes were flying off of my face.
Like, I've never had that happen in my life.
I have never seen that happen.
Hi, dude!
Dad.
Thomas just finished up this job.
This is one person ordered all of this stuff.
So, there's like two nightstands, a bench, a coffee table,
and this beautiful table right here.
How's it look?
It looks awesome.
I don't know what to say, actually.
You guys, I'm at a loss for words, which is very rare.
By the way, I have like, probably trial and errored
10 to 20 different designs on how I wanted these tables
to look when I started building them,
and like what material I'm gonna use,
and the best way to do it.
I actually custom make this stain, you guys.
And I came up with it after trying a few different colors.
I love it.
But, I feel like I finally figured out exactly
the way I like it.
And it turns out other people like it, too.
Oh!
Ezra!
What are you doing?
Ah!
His ears are so scared right now.
Ezra!
Ha ha ha!
I could even make it smaller in this right here.
What do you mean smaller?
That's like, perfect.
Okay, I wanted to just see.
I wanted a table in between the chairs,
and I'm like, I think that's like,
that's like, perfect, babe.
Don't you think?
Like, that size is perfect.
That light is not very bright, is it?
Okay, yeah, babe, I like that a lot.
What do you guys think?
What do you think?
That size, I love the, that gray color.
We're gonna repaint this deck, too, so.
We should paint it gray.
Yeah, I like it.
Gray mom.
You know what, one thing I'm really sad we didn't do,
so, when Thomas painted the house,
well, it's really dark out here,
so you're not gonna be able to see,
but on the other side of this wall,
he ran out of paint like, halfway up the wall,
and we've never fixed it.
Well, at least it's not gray.
Well, this is green, so this is like,
the true color of the house,
is this like, green, bright green color.
But, like, I am not about to roll that.
I'm not about to hit it with a paintbrush,
because like, think of those lines and those crevices.
It's just such a pain in the butt
to get the sprayer out and do it again.
You know what I mean?
Because you gotta tape everything.
Oh my gosh, it's such a process.
Like, that was some-
The prep work is longer than the spray work.
That was about two years ago we did that,
and I'm still not, I'm still not over how annoying it was.
So-
She was a lot of help at pointing out what I missed.
Shut up.
She's still not over that.
I'm still over it.
What's up, bro?
What's up?
Hey, can you tell our friends goodnight?
Say bye, and say goodnight to me on a bike.
