The speaker advocates for starting a life transformation in November rather than waiting for January. By focusing on mindset, home organization, nutrition, and a structured fitness plan, she demonstrates how intentional habits and small, consistent shifts in daily routines can lead to significant physical and mental improvements within 60 days.
Imagine where you could be by January
if you stopped waiting for January.
I'm sorry.
You have been here for any amount of time.
This is not going to be a surprise.
I find that this
time of year, I don't know what happens to me,
but I tend to change my life in November.
I think there's this mentality
that when we get to this point of the year,
we look back at the goals that we set in January
and we realize all the things that we haven't accomplished.
So we tell ourselves, we'll just start again in January.
Let's start again.
And then these two months go to complete crap.
But here's what I want to remind you.
So years ago on November 1st, I started a six-month challenge.
At the time, I had no idea what this is going to do for me.
It was everything.
Honestly, that was the start of...
Like my life looks completely different
than it did when I started that challenge.
I had no idea how much change would happen.
for me not again not only physically mentally
spiritually emotionally all of it I became a
version of myself I did not know existed
and it all started November 1st so I just have this thing
about getting your life in order in November
not waiting for the new year so because of that I've
just been thinking a lot about the things
that I personally set out to do at the beginning of the
year you know the things I wanted to accomplish
the habits I wanted to build the person I wanted
to become and I've realized in a few
of those areas I've gotten a little bit off track that's
normal we derail that's just part of life
but just because the year is almost over I am not
I'm not giving up on those things.
So today we're gonna get our lives back on track.
I am going to be doing a major deep declutter of my house,
getting serious about my fitness and nutrition again,
establishing a skincare routine,
and probably most importantly, working on my mindset.
Oh my gosh, these clouds are driving me insane.
They just keep coming and going.
So the lighting is just whack.
But anyway, what are we listening to?
What are we watching?
What are we telling ourselves every single day?
I just wanna be more intentional about all of it.
So with that being said,
my hope is that this video inspires you
to revisit some of the goals
that you set out to do at the beginning of the
of the year and not to beat yourself up about
the things that you weren't able to accomplish,
but really to remind you that you do still have time.
A lot can happen in 60 days. You do not
need a new year to become a new version of yourself.
So let's get into it. I mentioned
earlier my favorite thing to do this time
of year is to give my house a good
declutter. I think part of that reason too
is because I go really hard on Christmas. You know
I deck these halls and they are covered like every square inch
of my house is covered in garland and
there's something about opening up a closet
and having everything just fall on top of you. By that
point I'm just like wanting to blow my house up.
I'm over it. I hate it when there's just so much
visual clutter because Christmas but then also your cabinets,
your drawers, your closets are just
also full of clutter. That's actually what will drive me insane.
So it is time to organize
I like to start in all of my kids closets.
I will go through all of their clothes,
anything that doesn't fit them anymore.
We are going to create a large donate pile. I also do
the same thing with the kids toys.
So I will go through all of their closets, the toy area,
we're going to get to that in just a minute,
but my younger two do have toys in their room,
as you can see. So I like to get rid of whatever they're
no longer playing with, but this is also
a good time for me to, it's almost like it triggers memories
of things that they've been
asking for over the year.
Sometimes this is just a good little memory jogger to also go through
their toys. So I'm going to be getting rid
of anything that they no longer play with. Then the
key here is I'm trying to leave enough space for new things.
So as they're getting new winter clothes
or things that they might need, but then also new toys,
because obviously Christmas, they're going
to be getting some new stuff.
Again, what I can't stand though is when they already have too much
and then I know more stuff is coming.
Oh my gosh, it's so stressful to even think about. Anyway,
Anyway, I always feel good after doing.
doing this. So if you're needing some motivation
to do this yourself hopefully this video will give
you the kick
in the pants you need.
This is embarrassing.
Okay I've
been avoiding it. I
definitely don't want the world to see this so but here I
am showing the world the most embarrassing
room in my whole entire house.
So we moved here a couple months ago. This has kind of been the
catch-all if you can't tell.
The laundry room is randomly kind of big so I'm
using this space for multiple things um it's kind
of become the toy room a storage room and
the laundry room we're going to tackle
this because this is the one area i'm like i can't
even think about decorating for christmas
or getting more stuff for christmas getting gifts
whatever i cannot even think about
that when i have a room that looks like this so
I'm happy to finally tackle this room once and for all.
My goal here is to have absolutely nothing
over here in the corner, nothing.
I want nothing here, nothing on the floor.
The shelves, I want them to be organized
and the toys organized, and I'm gonna donate everything
that they're not playing with once again.
But because my kitchen is so small,
I have zero storage in my kitchen.
I have a little pantry enough to put
whatever we're eating at the moment,
but I have nowhere to store.
baking goods or big pots and pans.
So I am grateful this storage room exists because
I literally had nowhere to store all of this.
It's not going to be pretty by any means. Like
this is not aesthetically cute, but it is what it is.
And I'm grateful that I have at least
some extra storage in this house.
There's this little tiny area under the stairs
that I thought that might be a better place to
shove all the kids toys. It was too much for my eyes to view.
I don't like so much stuff all in
one room. So I think having it tucked under
the stairs is a good place to just have it
stored. And then it's kind of funny because as I'm cleaning,
my youngest came in and just started
playing with everything, which is, I mean, obvious.
If you're a mom, you understand this
is how it goes. As you're cleaning, your kids are making a mess.
It's kind of just the way it goes,
I also wanted to mention, you can see here,
I have a washer dryer, which I haven't had in many years.
I had like the one and done unit. This was in my rental.
So I just am using this for now. I didn't
want to move my washer here as well.
So yeah, I think I did have someone mention, Hey, did you
bring your washer
dryer with you?
So this is what
I'm using for now.
We made it
to the finale. We're
done. We're going to be done cleaning after this.
This is the last thing that I'm getting to, at
least in this video, winter's coming.
And so I really need to handle this closet. It's just,
I mean...
You saw. You saw what it looks like.
What I need to do is make sure that we have all of our
coats hanging here. This is mostly my stuff
but I need to go find all the kids things.
Find everybody's boots. I need to reorganize our shoe rack.
Oh I also picked up one of those mats
specifically for wet shoes.
Those are super helpful for us folks over here up in Utah
or anywhere that gets all the snow.
I'll shut up now so that I can get to organizing.
Amazing.
Nothing is more annoying to me
than when I finally do something
and it took me five minutes.
This was not a hard task.
Why do we put things off for so long
when it's not that big of a deal?
It did not take that long.
I'm just glad it's done now.
So we're gonna go, am I including this in this video?
Dinner, I wasn't sure if I was, but maybe, why not?
I'm gonna go prep dinner.
We're having a crock pot meal
and those are always my favorite.
And they take eight to 10 business days,
eight hours to marinate.
I'm gonna go make dinner
and then we'll get onto the rest of the video.
We're at the time of year where I'm freezing in the morning.
Right now, I'm so freaking hot.
I also just came in from the grocery store.
So just like lugging everything in.
I'm sweating now.
But we're going to put a crock pot.
We're going to throw a crock pot recipe together.
This is probably the easiest recipe you're ever going
to see in your whole entire life.
There's three ingredients.
And this is one that everybody's going to love.
10 out of 10, five stars.
Everybody in my family likes this.
So let me flip this around so I can show you.
For some of these voiceovers that I'm doing today,
I am so sick, and so if I sound a little
raspy, it's because I am,
and I don't have time to do this on another day, so.
Just bear with me.
Anyway, if you're a fan of the sweet pork from Cafe Rio
or Costa Vida, you're going
to love this meal.
To start, you're just going to need a pork tenderloin.
You're going to dump an entire thing of salsa over it
and about one cup of brown sugar and
let it do its thing in the crock pot for about six to eight hours.
We love the sweet pork salads in our house,
so I just grabbed the ingredients to throw
a salad together.
Starting with a tortilla, we do the cilantro lime rice,
black beans, romaine, tortilla
strips, and then for the dressing, we love the cilantro lime.
ranch and then pico if you're into that.
Oh, I also forgot cheese. I did have some cheese,
but I forgot
to put it here.
Oh, please tell me,
can you hear me?
Gosh, I swear.
Oh yes, you can.
Okay. Hmm. I have recorded many times where I found out after the fact
and I was editing that
the sound was not on. I think actually my last video
that happened once. So the next portion
of the video I wanted to talk about really just locking
in with fitness. So I'm on day,
I think 635, if I'm right.
I try to check every day 635 days of closing my rings.
If you're an Apple user then you know what
that is. It's just doing all your goals every single day.
I've been consistent okay doing some
kind of physical activity every single day
but I feel like there's a difference between whatever
I'm doing and sticking to an actual program
so that's what I want to change. I just really want
to lock in. I do feel like I do this at this time
of year every single year and maybe part of it is
because my birthday is right before Christmas
and I think there's something to going into the next
Next year, like that milestone, my best self.
That's what I like to do.
I like to try to always just improve from last year.
And so I feel like I was just getting an itch to do this
at this time of year.
So I'm adding it to this video,
but I do feel like I could go into way more detail
in another one.
I just don't want to cover every single thing that I could
because this video will be way too long.
And I'm sure there's some of you that just don't care.
You could skip to the next part.
All right, with that being said,
I created a program with the help of ChatGPT.
I'm not saying I recommend everybody doing this.
I know a thing or two about fitness, macros.
so many years so I'm not coming at this like completely clueless
but what I did is I went
into chat and I put in what my goals were with fitness
and with nutrition and so based off of
what I put in here I got a program
and so this is this 12-week program that I'm going to stick to.
I still do my walks every day
but I want to incorporate much more weight training and my
only thing is I might end up getting a gym membership.
I just don't like the gym. I like
being able to just wake up and work out in my living room
so I'm that's what I'm going to do
this workout, but I'm going to do this for about a week here.
If I'm just feeling like I need a
little bit more, I will end up getting a gym membership.
So that's something that I'll keep
you guys posted on if I change.
As far as my goal, I'm not looking to lose weight, but more of like
body recomp. I need to tone up a little bit.
You know, that's just what my goal is. I just want to
improve. That's really it. I want to physically feel better.
I want to feel stronger. I'm feeling
I feel like a weak little dork these days and I need some muscle.
Where'd it go? It's gone. So we need to fix that.
Let me just show you. Let me show you what I,
what I got. Where did it go? No, that's not what it was.
Where are you? Hopefully this saved.
Okay, yes it did.
Based off of a home situation, home workouts,
it's pretty cool.
This is what it's showing me.
So it's showing me like all of the workouts.
If you're completely clueless,
this is gonna be helpful for you
because it's showing like actual pictures and stuff.
So this is showing me like an example.
Monday would be glutes and quads.
It's showing me how many exercises
I should do with each movement.
And then Tuesday, shoulder and arms.
What's today?
What are we gonna do today?
I'm not even sure.
Arms today or legs?
I guess we're gonna find out.
We're gonna find out.
Anyway, so I have the whole little program right here.
And then I also have my, for my nutrition,
I put in things that I personally like to eat.
Like I'm not a fish girl.
I hate fish.
Ooh, the smell of fish.
Any type of fish, disgusting.
Unless it's tuna.
I mean, everyone says that's the most disgusting fish,
but I love, I love tuna.
So anyway, I put in what I like,
how often I like to eat,
the macros that I wanna stick to.
And then it created me a meal plan and a grocery list.
Which was ideal.
So that's pretty cool.
I think we're going to go get a couple groceries for the week too.
Maybe we'll do that in this video.
The number one goal for me with my nutrition is to get more protein.
And I know I struggle with that.
And then I also struggle with water.
I just don't love water.
When Diet Coke exists, it's really hard.
To just drink water.
Yesterday, I did not let myself drink one Diet Coke
until after dinner, when I was watching a show
with the boys.
That was my first Diet Coke of the day
and I felt so proud.
I was so proud of myself.
I don't even wanna tell you how many cans deep
I usually am by that point, but it's not good.
So those are like my main goals.
Enough protein.
I need to drink my freaking water.
And then I'll probably cover some supplements that I'm taking
because I do feel like those help.
So I'll talk about that in just a minute.
But we need to get our workout on.
Otherwise, I'm just going to avoid it.
Workouts and walks are usually the two things I don't want to do.
But once I'm done, I just feel so much better mentally.
And then, I mean, we have enough scientific
evidence of why it's good for you
and what it does mentally for you as well.
But I swear it also really helps me with...
My nutrition like I make better food choices when I do those things.
Anyway, I'll shut up. Let's get to our workout
I'm gonna do a
day
today and I
shouldn't
have gotten
full glam
before
this but I
have a place
I gotta go. This is the only time I had
to work out before we go on with our day
I gotta go make some breakfast and I think today i'm making some
runny eggs on some toast maybe with a little avocado. Let's go
Dang
it
Okay.
As promised, I'm sharing some supplements that I'm taking
and are these necessary?
No, the few that I am taking are bioactive peptides,
which means no pokes and no side effects.
One is a drink and the other one is a capsule.
The capsule is designed to modulate
the gut brain signaling axis and helps with cravings.
So what I've noticed is my food noise
has significantly decreased
if it's not completely gone away.
I think that's actually why a lot of people
love the GLP-1s is for food cravings.
And if you can get it in a natural peptide,
I think that's just a better option.
And then the powder helps with muscle
and the more muscle you have on your body,
everything's going to be functioning better.
If you're not familiar with peptides, I would do some
research on these. They basically act
as biological text messages that tell your body to perform
specific functions. So they are super great
if you're needing any kind of support. And then
quickly I'm just sharing my little grocery store haul.
These are just a few of my groceries I
needed for the week. I personally love
when people share these types of things, so that's why I
That's why I included it in here.
All right, jumping into skincare
and I'm only sharing this because I'm almost 38 and I need
to get really serious about my face.
I can just tell it's aging. So, and I'm not trying to look
younger. I mean, maybe I am a little bit,
who doesn't want to look younger? Anyway, I've used
the same cleanser for a hundred years, just the basic store brand.
But something I've noticed
about my skin the last few years is it's just really dry,
which dry skin makes you look older
in my opinion. So something I've added
to my routine is a hydrating mask. And I do this at
At least once a week, and I've done this for about the last.
Last year, something I've added a little more recently
to my skincare routine is this peptide
slash stem cell system and OMG, I am obsessed.
Let me first start by saying I paid for this.
This was not sent to me or given to me,
but one of my besties on IG, I've never met her
in person, but we're friends.
She's been sharing some of the test subjects
as this was about to launch and I was.
Absolutely blown away by the results people
were getting in the first 30 to 60 days
on this stuff. So let me explain.
This Renew drink is an internal. So this is made from
peptides found in hibiscus,
and this helps your body produce 68% of its own collagen in just a
matter of days. I'm going to be showing some results
from people that are just drinking this
daily. They're not even using the other two products.
Bonus, I hear it works a little bit
better if you're drinking it in a holiday glass of some kind.
JK, JK. The Revive Serum is a peptide
Stem Cell Serum.
It helps improve skin renewal, firmness, texture, and elasticity.
And then for the moisturizer,
Replenished is made with Korean ingredients, which we know is
the bomb.com. This is an emulsion
and it has all of the good things. It's got the peptides,
stem cells, ceramides. I'm sure there's a couple
of things I'm forgetting, but this targets visible
signs of aging, replenishes hydration and supports a firmer,
smoother complexion. The best part is
they offer a 100% money back guarantee.
So there's no risk to try. For me, that was a huge selling
point, especially because I was ordering the entire kit.
I do have a $10 off coupon code
in the description if you're interested in trying.
I've also been taking pictures to document my results,
so I will be sharing those soon.
And if you only could pick one from the three, 100% go with the dream.
The results with this have just been crazy.
Amending this with some simple ways
that I'm being more intentional about what I'm allowing
into my mind. And this is one of the simplest changes we can make
because it doesn't require
more time or effort, just making some subtle different decisions.
So think about how much
time we're constantly consuming without even realizing it.
For example, when I'm folding
laundry or cleaning the house or getting ready in the morning,
I almost always have something on,
whether it's just trashy TV or music or just,
I mean, it could be anything. There's nothing
There's nothing wrong with that, but what I've started doing.
I'm just choosing to listen to things that are going to inspire me that
might be educational or they're going to just help me grow in some way.
I really believe that what we consistently consume shapes
the way that we think and the way that we think influences
the way that we see ourselves and the decisions that we make
and ultimately the direction our lives go.
Even just 30 minutes a day adds up to over 180 hours a year.
So just imagine how much you can learn
or how differently you might think after those 180 hours.
I'm also working on shifting my focus away
from everything that's not going right in
my life and putting energy towards things that I can control
and what I'm grateful for
and what I'm working towards.
I think that's the biggest takeaway
from this whole reset is changing your life doesn't
always require some huge dramatic decision,
but sometimes it's just the smallest little
shifts that you make consistently
and over time you look back and everything's changed.
So anyway, that's all I had for today's video.
I hope that you left inspired in some way, whether it's just to finally
Let me declutter your house
or maybe tackle some of those last few things
that you had on your dream boards for the year.
Whatever it is, I hope you left with some inspiration.
Thank you guys so much for being here
and for watching this video.
And if you haven't yet subscribed, please do so.
And I will see you guys in the next video.
